JRAD

First time seeing them. I was wildly impressed.

It's like the dead on steroids.

Good afternoon with a lot of talkers.

Worth a spin to get spun I tell ya.

Thanks for sharing.  I look forward to giving this a listen.

IMHO, the JRAD show at Oakland Fox on 11/12/16 was the Best Show of 2016.  At least it was my favorite.

Johnny -that JRAD show was absolutely stellar - not to mention the good time 3D meet up ! i have watched/listened to a bunch of JRAD lately and that show stands just a head above the rest - not sure if it was the Bobby sit in or what but they seemed to be an extra gear further at that show.

i cant wait to hear the FLA shows....

peace

I'm a JRAD fan. I watched this past summer's Lockn sets again recently. I'll check out that Oakland show next.

^The MTX recording on archive.org sounds great.

The JRAD I saw that night felt more refined than the previous year's band (at the same location, see 12/12/15 mtx on archive), but still jammy and, at times, unpredictable.  The mini acoustic set, with Bob Weir, added the balance of beauty and authority, IMHO.  The music, the venue, recent election results, and the people involved made this one feel special.  (That they only play our area once per year adds to the occasion as well).

Small world Tim. My buddy was at that festival this weekend. His name's Tim too.

Pulled this from his FB page. Not a clear pic, but it is JRAD.

Love this band

Better than phish

My son finishes school and needs us to pick him up in Tennessee on May 4th.

Jrad is in New Orleans 5-7. Seeing if the boy wants to stop in voodoo land for a hoedown at the Joy theater.

Place looks sweeeet.

Place looks intimate.

I saw JRAD at the Joy Theatre in May 2015. The place is not that big. The upcoming show is during the second weekend of JazzFest so the place is going to be packed.
