Looks like Louis Farrakhan was just as intrigued as Bill Clinton by Ariana Grande. Didn't know that Aretha had ties to the Nation Of Islam. Apparently she came to their support when one of their temples was firebombed in New York City in 1972. His presence on stage at her funeral ruffled some folks who claim he is anti-Semitic and homophobic. I tried looking for an image of Aretha with Malcolm X, but as far as I can tell, they never met.
This minister has gotten flack for inappropriately groping and for referring to Ms. Grande as Ariana "Taco" Grande, while Grande has caught some heat for dressing innapropiately for a funeral. Church people get annoyed pretty easily. Hopefully we won't see Dianne Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi and Ruth Bader Ginsberg tarting it up at McCain's funeral.
