Just saw my first ad for streaming Phils ROCtober shows...
The usual $19.99 per show was still happening (10$ cheaper than D&C), but the entire 9 show run was only $99.99!!! That's a really good deal if you ask me, for 9 shows, sign me up!!!

I was so excited when the Q
I was so excited when the Q were announced, and thought, wow, finally time to go back east for some shows. Anyway, after a few hours and doing the math, a cooler head prevailed. I reckoned that tickets alone would cost more than airfare to Europe next year. I am saving my money for that. The streams are a deal. I have gotten used to plugging a computer into the stereo and TV and am looking forward to the shows online at home.

I'm considering buying the
Hammer, you're usually able to watch a show for at least 48 hours after it.
I'm considering buying the whole package, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. The Q shows are a no-brainer, but the other lineups have an interesting mix of familiar and unfamiliar (to me) names.
From the Capitol web site:
Our first journey begins with Phil Lesh Quintet on October 11 - 13! Phil will be joined by Warren Haynes, Jimmy Herring, John Molo, and Rob Barraco to create The Q, the longest running incarnation of Phil Lesh & Friends.
Phil Lesh will be joined by a rotating lineup on October 18 - 20. Phil’s “Friends” features Stuart Bogie, Amy Helm (October 18 and 20), Eric D. Johnson, Josh Kaufman, Grahame Lesh, Elliott Peck (October 19), Joe Russo, and Benmont Tench.
Phil-o-Ween’s stacked roster features Nicki Bluhm, Larry Campbell (October 31), members of Dawes including guitarists Taylor Goldsmith and Trevor Menear, drummer Griffin Goldsmith and keyboardist Lee Pardini, Phil’s son and our dear friend Grahame Lesh, M.C. Taylor of Hiss Golden Messenger (October 29-30), and Teresa Williams (October 31).

Phil at Planet Bluegrass was the first show I've ever streamed, and I still didn't know what VOD stands for until now.
