Bet it was Michael Travis.

Very sad, they absolutely crushed it at the 2nd Greek show

My life + focus outside of raising 2 cool kids is very centered in the music industry.  I'm a therapist seeing women who tour or work in live events.  Married to a touring (?) musician;  a former board member & still devoted ally to Conscious Alliance; dedicated & enlightened by Backline for acknowledging + offering MENTAL HEALTH + WELLNESS services.  My chosen family + friends include musicians at all levels (day jobs still, playing bars, low paying gigs), others at the medium level and may have insurance, to those playing large venues w/ huge operating budgets; and then the beloved crew-  The String Cheese Incident 's crew past and present will always have a piece of my heart + soul-  i adore the crew- my safety crew; along with SO many friends who work crew for other bands; the management (+ promoters, agents)-  I LOVE them too!  Trey (from PHISH) just posted about his bus driver of years retiring; can I tell you I'm jealous that he has a SAFE, consistent driver- they drive your favorite musicians at night while they are trying to sleep soundly!  every night!  what if you tour in a van? I love the Red Rocks staff, the Fox, The Boulder Theatre staff-  ticketing, bar load, bartenders, security.  SO MANY AMAZING HUMANS WORKING A VARIETY OF LEVELS in the industry THAT HAVEN"T WORKED OR BEEN PAID FOR 17 MONTHS!!! Can they work again? Can they go that long w/o guaranteed income.  What's wrong with sleeping in your own bed and working at HOME DEPOT (seriously we have talked about this in our home)? Is this worth it?  Is the industry sustainable? The String Cheese Incident, Widespread Panic, The Black Crowes, and more every day are cancelling shows last minute due to a band member testing positive.  THEY NEED TO WORK! THEY NEED TO BE SAFE! THEY HAVE FAMILIES! THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR CREW, FANS and COMMUNITY.  What if the concerts are already booked? Can a band cancel? Should they require safety protocols or not?  Vaccinated? Damn the struggle w/ loved ones who aren't- especially those that still come + support + buy tickets to live events- how is the mask wearing, social distancing, alerting your friends if you aren't vaxed before hugging them or their children, letting them know later if you contracted the virus?! If a musician admits they are vaxed and end up positive- fans count the days between the next show and make rude unfounded comments about how often they may test crew or if they are vaxed or not, while other fans CRY and tell you they have lost 2k in airfare, hotel and time off.  What is right? What about earning an income? Especially after poverty levels of income in 2020.  Do bands have to pay the crew, the busses for tour, hotels and airfare if they cancel gigs? (YES). Will fans hate you and post mean shit about you? (YES)  What's the priority? How can 25+ people in an organization all agree on what's best? Kyle came home this week after SCI gigs were cancelled with a band member testing positive.  So after hanging with him, my girls and I are now quarantining from him and wondering if we have been exposed?  Does my young unvaxed kiddo have covid?  Let's get tested again 2x this week-  sorry about soccer and school starting honey- we are not clear yet.  This sucks you guys, please consider this if you like live music or care about anyone working in the industry.  We need to work, I don't want to go on unemployment.  I miss my husband.  I hope my kids can go to school this week.

^ wow... I love Kyle. I feel for her and their family. This is tough stuff...

No one is untouched by this scourge. Vacc, mask, we need to take care of each other.

Nice to see you around, Rob.

I'd buy some nails or something from him if I saw Kyle working at Home Depot.
