So, my Harman Kardon Dynamo 500 just died after 6 years of honorable service. I reached out to the company in hopes they will send me another subwoofer or give me a discount on a new model. I'm not optimistic, but you never know.
Although happy with the performance of the Harman Kardon, seeking advice on alternatives. I recently bought some Klipsch speakers, and am loving them, and looking into the R-115SW, that delivers 800 watts of power. The cost of this sub is $700.
So, what sub is currently rattling your pad that i need to know about?

Klipsch has some decent stuff
Klipsch has some decent stuff at different pricing level if your looking for something economical I would look there. Is Sunfire still out there? They used to have some high end stuff that was low profile in size

My 1st choice is Subs would be JL Audio, but you are gonna pay, they are the cream of the crop in my opinion
a on line only option that make more moderately price gear would be SVS Subs, something in every price and all very good sounding imho

Home subs do have fuses. I'm sure the folks at Harmon told you to check if yours was blown. Any chance that's it? I love my B&W sub, but also very pricey. I too once had money and bought the sub
