Well this is the real life version, and the upcoming trial in Reno NV will do more to shape politics in America over the next 20 years than any election.
Short version Murdoch set up an irrevocable trust that gave 4 or his six kids equal say in the running of the media empire. Now the 92 year old Murdoch is trying to change the "irrevocable" trust to give just the one kid who is full MAGA sole say in how the media empire is run because the other three kids have gone soft and believe in things like climate change. A probate judge in Reno will decide.
