Sunglasses Thread

Forums:

need a new pair bad.

where do you buy.

no, i don't want fog's oakley blades.

need to be polarized.

under $200...

i am horrible on them.

won't buy sunski cheapos again.

recs? sites?

deals?

I buy 10 pairs at a time from the Dollar Tree. $1.00 each, multiple colors, including white and black. When they break or are lost, its no big deal.

I'm with Turtle, but I set the bar at $100. My shades are scratched bad.

I usually find mine on top of my head

Rhinestone shades.........

...of CHEEP sunglasses

My progressive eyeglasses are also transitions and they are expensive.

You can get a pair of polarized ones for $20 at Target.  $10 non polarized at the Vans store

Recently found an amazing deal at a gift shop on the beach in Costa Rica - wraparound Ray-Bans for only $6!   Couldn't believe it, but the label was right on them.

Still have a pair they gave me when I walked into a ZZ show years ago.

"Cheap Sunglasses"

When you get up in the morning and the light is hurt your head
The first thing you do when you get up out of bed
Is hit that street a-runnin' and try to meet the masses
And go get yourself some cheap sunglasses
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah

Spied a little thing and I followed her all night
In a funky fine levis and her sweater's kind of tight
She had a west coast strut that was sweet as molases
But what really knocked me out was her cheap sunglasses
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah

Now go out and get yourself some thick black frames
With the glass so dark thay won't even know your name
And the choice is up to you cause they come in two classes
Rhinestone shades and cheap sunglasses
Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah

i need quality people...

>> i need quality people...

Meh. I've found that all glasses, regardless of quality of coatings, gets scratched within a year or two. So I go cheaper nowadays.

I got my latest prescription sunglasses for $35 at zenni.

don't ask me lol i picked up my last pair for $6 at family dollar. ;-)

blah.jpg

i stare at the ocean.

Ray Ban polarized are nice under the $200 price point.

Lots of different styles to choose from. I think you could pull off Aviators, or go with one of the classic square frames like the Wayfarer.

Don't buy cheap sunglasses, they suck and they will break if you don't go blind from their crappiness first., polarized or not. I'd suggest going to a sunglass store and try some on, find the ones that fit you that you like and then buy them online for cheaper.. There is a huge different in a quality polarized lens and a mediocre quality polarized lens.

This is similar to my go to pair, mine are root beer brown and polarized, worth every penny.

http://www.oakley.com/en/mens/sunglasses/flak-jacket-polarized-standard-...

The pair i fixed last year i used Revant polarized replacement lenses and they suck compared to the official oakley lens. I'm not telling you to get Oakleys by any means, just pay the extra for a good quality polarized lens bro, your eyes will thank you..

For the record i have never owned a pair of oakley blades or even tried a pair on, never.

There are a ton of quality brands for surf and skiing type use, Oakley and Ray Ban have been passed up and over by these companies as far as quality and style go, maybe comparable lens quality..

>>>wraparound Ray-Bans for only $6!

counterfeit no doubt, with ray ban and oakley being the leaders in knock off glasses, not authentic.

This link shows many brands of polarized sunglasses, all under $100 -- even Oakleys. Love Sierra Trading Post!

http://www.sierratradingpost.com/s~polarized-sunglasses/?perPage=96

Remember that the cheap plastic glasses you buy and throw away end up in the landfill or ocean for thousands of years.

Glass lenses, like those used in RayBans, take a long time to scratch. That's why the price is higher.  I like to buy for the long haul.

http://www.panamajack.com/sunglasses

great glass if you want. Certain frames can be used with prescription.  I think lifetime warranty. I got 2 pairs replaced/repaired for cheap when I sat on mine. By far the best Ive used. Amazing glare reduction. Take care of your eyes and try not to lose em.

Sunglasses/glasses are a monopoly controlled industry.  Paying hundreds fof dollars for glasses doesn't mean you're getting quality, it's means you're a custie.

As my fellow four-eyes will know, buying new glasses can be an expensive undertaking. The fanciest frames at LensCrafters often sell for $400-500. Holding those little assemblages of glass, metal, and plastic that cost $25-50 to make in your hand, you might wonder how exactly you were roped into paying so much.

The answer is basic economics. Most frames are manufactured by a single company, named Luxottica. The Italian company makes frames and sunglasses for an amazing list of brands and stores, including:

Prada

Chanel

Dolce & Gabbana

Versace

Burberry

Ralph Lauren

Tiffany

Bulgari

Vogue

Persol

Coach

DKNY

Rayban

Oakley

Sunglasses Hut

LensCrafters

Oliver Peoples

Pearle Vision

Target Optical

Sears Optical

Luxottica controls 80% of the major brands in the $28 billion global eyeglasses industry. This monopolistic structure of the market leads to profits that are “relatively obscene,” says Tim Wu, a professor of law at Columbia University and the author of The Master Switch.

Costco

Hit The Surf Shops T - Good Luck ! also p/u some Croakies - I usually pick up 40-60 buck ones i find at Eye glass stores - good enough for me as i am not Big into shades.

https://www.costadelmar.com/us/en/homepage?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cp...

I picked up a pair of these Costa's at Dick's Sporting Goods. The first expensive pair I have bought since some ray bans ages ago. I usually loose them pretty quick, but I had some store credits and christmas gift cards so I went all in on some $180 pair. Usually sunglass make it too dark and I end up not wearing them, but the pair I have has a dark tint but looking out is bright but without the glare. Polorized too, I wear em fishing alot and on the golf coarse when hitting into the sun. Florida does produce the enviroment that does put them to the test

I usually loose them pretty quick, <<<

Which Is Why Croakies Are A Must ! - Spend the 5 Bucks....

I'm with St. Mark on the Ray-Ban. Lots to choose from for under $200. I have the Wayfarer in tortoise and also the classic folding. I love them. I think each pair cost about $150.

Consider how important the health of your eyes are to your quality of life and well being.  I also spend fair amount of time on water; quality polarized lenses make all the difference in the world to me.  Custie or not, spend some money to protect your eyes and you've just done yourself a future favor.  Smith Optics would be my close second recommendation.

--> Native Eyewear.  I have been very impressed with this brand's durability, lenses that don't scratch easy, and top-notch overall value.  Plus, they are shatter-proof, and are designed to not splinter into your eye like the rest of glases will.

Big 5 sporting goods stores have some good sale prices on Bolle brand sunglasses a lot of times !!!

My Hound has chomped at least half a dozen 'pairs' of sunglasses, usually knocking out a lens or earpiece.

Rather than throwing them all out to the landfill, my plan is to carve a multi-eyed Tiki sporting various sets of chomped shades.

He does not actually eat them, which is Great.

Maui Jim's. Thank me later.

Thank you when he loses his $400 glasses?

They are the cream of the crop.

I stare at the ocean a lot, too. I've learned that it's worth it, by far, to have the cream of the crop. Unless you don't care about your eyes?

yeah i think my top $ is about a buck 5ity..

Turtle would look cool in a pair of Ray Ban avos.

Lotta dorky recs in this thread.

Under $200:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00EPKWTYG/ref=dp_olp_new_mbc?ie...

Get one with grey lenses and one with bronze lenses for overcast and clear days.

Also get yourself a good case to store them when not wearing. They also make different sizes. Sporting goods store, surf shop, sunglass store, skiing store and tackle shops should have them for you to try on.

that sierra post has some decent stuff.

are hobies still good?

they used to be back in the day...

maui jim reminds me of tommy bahamma

Hobie reminds me of Oakley.

To each, their own...good luck.

Do Maui Jim sunglasses look cool with Dockers on the dock?

Of course, St. Dork. Especially in a Tommy Bahama shirt.

That's a sweet look, Gravy.

gtrain, you smokey cigars?

>>That's a sweet look, Gravy.

martha iphone gold.jpeg

I used to be quite a cigar enthusiast, yes, Turtle. My interest has waned and I no longer collect them, but I'll puff an occasional stogie, sure.

I've brought home Cuban cigars from overseas in the past. surprise

I agree with Gravy on Maui Jim's.  Best lenses I've ever had.  You can get them for under $200.

If you need prescription suns as I do you can get them done with their lenses at the factory, not $200 but awesome

I switched from Ray Bans to Maui Jims a few years ago. There's no comparison but they ain't cheap.

The name is lame but they are the right shades for a So Cal guy Turtle...

hmm, maybe i get an expensive pair and a couple of $29 hobies for leaving on the beach/work...

is this u hqdefault_5.jpggtrain?

nobody mentioned Blublockers yet.

https://www.blublocker.com/

lol

No, man, that's not me. Sweet stalking though.

Don't think I'd ever make a "how to" video on anything, like the kids are all doing these days

Native Beat-800x800.jpg

Nice work Hall, Sitting Bull probably would have accepted the glasses.

Once you adjust to the good quality glasses you won't wear anything else. Don't buy extra.

barn on bike.jpg...

Although I've had Oakleys, Ray Bans, Vuarnets and some others over the years, my favorite for optical quality and durability have been the 'Serengetti' brand.

Big 5 was where I purchased when they had 'em on sale.  Glass lenses of course, with sturdy metal or polycarbonate frames.

Always a good thread when Gravy and Fog pretend to be Native Americans.

(((Findians)))

You give great beach fashion advice, Mark. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Is this you?

dork.jpg

Please don't blame the beach for the way you dress, Gravy.

Can we blame the Rockies when you show up on a beach with pasty-white legs and a glowing-white sock tan?

Yes, Gravy. We call our unfortunate tan lines a Colorado Sportcoat.

I believe the technical term for your style of dress is Pussy Repellent, correct?

Got Vitamin D supplements ? You're showing signs of derangement.

I believe the technical term for your style of posting is "bickering", a new Zoner repellent, correct?

Of course I do, Gravy. D is an important supplement.

We also get over 300 days of sunshine in Colorado. FYI. Don't tell any of your neighbors, ok?

constable.150_0_0.jpg  Yes, Judit.

Later, Mark. I'm exiting this thread in the interest of New Zoners.

My sunglass advice stands.

Come on now, lets not ruin Turtles sunglass thread.

Thanks, Gravy.

I think Judit is getting read to unholster a fuck off or two.

Interesting how the Maui Jims have surpassed Ray Bans in this one..

Expensive Shades SCARE Me ! = As In Possibly Losing Them !

I somehow manage to keep a pair of sunglasses for about 4-5 years. Last summer I got a pair of Natives, on sale for around $125. I'm less than impressed.

Ultimately, as long as the keep out UVA and UVB, are polarized and have a gray lens, I really don't care about the name brand.

By the way, that Forbes article is a bit incorrect. My cousin owns a frame company. They are produced on exactly the same line as those listed above, and from the same materials. The average cost, FOB: $1.

Serengeti.  Best shits ever.

>>I believe the technical term for your style of dress is Pussy Repellent,

Well, it obviously didn't work. Otherwise, wouldn't it have repelled you, Mark?

Judit isn't going to like that post, Sixy.

You're right about Six's post bugging me, Mark, it's the spirit of it. But I have to say that I thought I was clever when I twisted your post into mine, sorry Gravy didn't see it that way.

Maybe no one beside me thought it was well done. Oh well.

Posting using Judit is as myself, not admin.

The only part of my post that is objectionable is the part where I quoted Mark.

Otherwise - I was turning his negative and insulting use of the term "pussy" back at him. I know several women who do not like that term used as Mark used it.

As long as Turtle doesn't end up with a pair of Ray Ban aviators this thread will end up a success.

I thought it was clever, Judit.

I don't think your sense of humor always gets the credit it deserves. You can trade paint with the best of 'em. That's a fact.

I assume Sixy will be logging off for the day now. Bye, Six.

Judit, the post was creative. Only problem it was hard to tell who it was directed at, should have been directed at both imo..

I believe my reply to that would be for you to go have sex with yourself, Mark.

Every time Fog tries to get out...

I hope you appreciate the "cleverness" in my last post.

Meh. Cleverness isn't really your strong suit, Six

I've seen your zoning described as "dick in the dirt", and I believe that's about right.

It was directed at anyone who was in or might jump on, Fog.

>>>>>I hope you appreciate the "cleverness" in my last post.

Gravy described his months long "counter-trolling" of Slacker as "brilliant".

Being a nice person isn't your strong suit, Mark.

(new zoner repellant)  i like it.

>>>>>Being a nice person isn't your strong suit, Mark.

Yet no zoner will give stronger advice on a suit.

Just say no to Mens Warehouse.

Didn't I send you some stout once, Six? That was nice.

Anyway, how do you guys feel about Warby Parker? Polarized sunglasses for $99.

Just because you did something once - that doesn't make it your strong suit.

Besides - I told Bill to drink it because I thought you had poisoned it.

>>Yet no zoner will give stronger advice on a suit.

I would never hire him as my lawyer.

Go have sex with yourself Timmy. Wear your Target shades.

Whatever you say Constable

Well, I haven't passed the bar in Vermont yet, so that's reasonable.

Timmy makes a good point though. I'm probably the zoner you'd want to go suit shopping with. Java Dave could have saved himself the $250 or whatever he paid for that fused, sweatshop-produced garbage he's been wearing on flights and gotten something nice.

I thought your post was clever, judit. But I mistook it as a serious request. Hall's clip put in in perspective.

Thank you.

Ah, but it was a serious comment, Gravy. By judit.

CLASS!

Gravy clearly didn't get it. Let's just move on.

(((Constable Stadanko)))

look assholes. i am just trying to get some shades here.

>>Whatever you say Constable

OK, Timmy, now let me explain: I've been tasked with distribution of stinkin' badges when witnessing acts of authority.

I'm more interested in forms of radical individualism and freedom that reject familiar authority structures.

I'm not now, nor have I ever been, a constable, deputy, junior admin, or officer of the law.

I've been tasked with distribution of stinkin' badges when witnessing acts of authority.

By whom were you given that task, Gravy? And is that based on your perceptions? Why would you take that on?

How was everyone's week?

Hall, can you give me an honest 1-10 rating on my findians (fake Indians) post?

It was inspired by your instant-classic foccasins.

>>By whom were you given that task, Gravy?

You. I believe your exact words were "as appropriate" laugh

TURTLE AND HIS NEW FREAKING SHADES ! people.

To be clear, no, I don't remember giving you that task, and don't think I would have done so. I do remember posting the new (antique) badge in response to your first one.

And is that based on your perceptions? Why would you take that on?

timeout g-train

Mark, you're being about as clever as Trump calling Warren "Pocahontas"

Which is to say, you're being racist as fuck.

Poor Gravy. Foiled again. sad

I think, Judit, that you actually asked him to use the antique badge in the future. That was my perception, but what the fuck do I know?

Brian, that I did. It was me fucking around with his deal. I apologize for fucking with you, Gravy. No one needs you to tell us when I'm acting with authority.

And Turtle, how 'bout these

Turtle in shades.jpg

This is the exact reason we don't have any new zoners, this blatent display of asshollery out of each and every one of you bickerers.

That's really not the reason at all, Fog.

Phil works at Long John Silvers and doesn't tour. Let's start there and work our way down.

Pointing out shit that others do is pretty common around here, Judit. There are about 15 examples of it in this thread alone. Don't discriminate on Gravy.

Judit said it was.

Am I imagining things when I remember the hush puppies at LJS being kind of awesome?

I don't think I've eaten there in 30 years. Keep me honest.

>>>racist as fuck

based on the results I would probably give Findians a solid 6 or 7...

looks like somebody beat you to it, though..

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Findian

Honestly, the threads that are having participation from a widespread group of Zoners, some of whom don't post as often as most of the people in this thread, are ones without bickering, pointing out shit that others do, competition or dick-waving. Just folks contributing to the point of the OP. Take a look around, see it - easy going, wide variety of people, returning Zoners, women!

I did not discriminate against Gravy in this thread. Read my posts again. And if there's something to discuss, we can take it to another thread or use the CONTACT button to get in touch with me.

Give Turtle back the sunglasses thread!

>>>>racist as fuck

Speaking of, that's a tortoise not a turtle in Judits picture.

Oh shit, I'm sorry - it came up in Google images, it was a Richard Branson tweet or something.

Thanks, Hall. That damn Urban Dictionary again.

Only ate there once and the hush puppies probably are the best tasting thing on the menu, the fish is just nasty.

>>>That damn Urban Dictionary again.

.001percendians hasn't been used...

The 6-7 is being mighty generous.   Now fogassins is hard to beat, setting the bar high on that one.

>>>>>The 6-7 is being mighty generous.

That's what Tulsa said.

what can I say, I'm not impervious to flattery.

Fog, was Tulsas kid visibly embarrassed when Dads "internet friend" (you) entered the restaurant and approached their table?

I bet Lil Tulsa has been desensitized to all kinds of weird shit.

Not at all, he was actually a nice kid.

>

>>>>racist as fuck

Speaking of, that's a tortoise not a turtle in Judits picture.<<

oh, yeah...."we all look the same"...

I dunno, that tortoise kinda looks like Phil to me... wish Poncho was here to photoshop it playin' bass

Phil works at Long John Silvers <<<

I Believe That ! What Happened ? = Family Band ha ha !

I like these

BluBlock.jpg

Blublockers!!!

Yes. Those.

Dragon Marquis

Deep purple-red lens mirroring thrums and sizzles, as if the Marquis stores gigawatts of power. The polarized optics amaze—crisp and high contrast with depth so deep, 3-D looks like 3.5. The Marquis has watersport bona fides, like liquid-shedding lens coatings and frames that float, but light leak at the sides disqualifies it as serious sportswear.

https://www.outsideonline.com/2021091/best-sunglasses-2016

No tortuous shell frames either as they are predominantly worn by women, well unless. not that theres anything wrong with that.

Fog, do you dress like a complete slob so people don't question your masculinity?

I don't dress like a slob, i realize you are hanging on to that insult for lack of actual quality authentic material.

Now i have a  question for you.

Did you have tortoise shell shades on when you dry humped the old guy at Mexicali?

>>>>> i realize you are hanging on to that insult for lack of actual quality authentic material.

How is it not authentic.  You posted the pics.

>>>>>>Did you have tortoise shell shades on when you dry humped the old guy at Mexicali?

You mean that guy I forcefully raped?  Doubt it.  I don't wear shades inside or at night.  And in my defense that guy was begging for it with his fancy jewelry and what not.

But seriously, lets talk about your gender identity issues.  There's obviously something there if you don't wear certain items because women also wear them.

Matching the rubber band you wear in your goatee to your shirt doesn't make you stylish, Fog.

Just an FYI.

>>How is it not authentic.  You posted the pics.

Thats like saying you pull a Mexicali Hoover during every show you attend.

Actually the foggasins could be considered gender neutral.

Turtle can we get an update on the sunglass search..

What part of "quit the bickering" is hard for Timmy and Mark to understand?

Asking for a friend. constable.075_0_3.jpg  laugh

No? Then, how about this: Tulsa took his kid to meet Fog; Timmy fished-out at Mexicali after making an ass of himself from one side of the venue to the other, eventually requiring an ER bailout. Both of these events were documented on the Zone by the individuals involved.

Keep deflecting from those facts all you want...keep mentioning an outfit you saw in a picture...but the real loser from those two events is pretty clear to anyone who's eyes aren't burnt-out from cheap sunglasses.

Have a nice day! cheeky

>>>>>Thats like saying you pull a Mexicali Hoover during every show you attend.

No it's not.  You are on the record time and again saying you don't give a fuck what people think and you dress how you're comfortable.  Basketball shorts and oversized Ts.  I'm not making that up.

Keep up the good work Gravy.

Be sure to post from the ER on your next visit, too, Fantastic Spastic.

Fog seems to have a difficult time deciding how he wants to represent himself on the zone, doesn't he?

At least Gravy is honest about being a dorky middle aged dude who wears Dockers.

>>>>>Be sure to post from the ER on your next visit, too, Fantastic Spastic.

That didn't happen.  I was way to spun to use my phone or internet.

>>>>At least Gravy is honest about being a dorky middle aged dude who wears Dockers.

And a "brilliant counter-troll"

lol

I almost went in and edited:

At least Gravy is honest about being a dorky middle aged dude who wears Dockers and can't give out a nickname to save his life.

Keep up the good work, boyz.

I think you mean "keep up the good work Dimmy Hoover and St. Fuckface!!!"

Dockers: Because What Else Would You Wear On A Dock?

>>>>>Thats like saying you pull a Mexicali Hoover during every show you attend.

No it's not.  You are on the record time and again saying you don't give a fuck what people think and you dress how you're comfortable.  Basketball shorts and oversized Ts.  I'm not making that up.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Fake news, Saying you are not overly concerned about how others view you and dressing like a slob are two totally different things, nice try.

>>>At least Gravy is honest about being a dorky middle aged dude who wears Dockers.

Wearing dockers and buying suits from mens warehouse is not an admission of dork, grasping on this one.

Dockers are very high quality and well made.

Fog, you've made the statement that you don't care how people view you in your slobbish attire and that your main concern is being "comfortable" many, many times. In context of your own comments, it is the same thing.

Edit: actually both of those things are clear dork indicators. The fact that you don't recognize them as such only speaks to the fact that you're a slob. Slobs aspire to dorkiness, because being a dork is actually a rung up from being a slob. There's a hierarchy at work here, you see? Hope that helps.

Stop lying Mark... again fake news..

Fake news, Saying you are not overly concerned about how others view you and dressing like a slob are two totally different things, nice try.

Mark, how do you feel about Nat Nast vs Tommy Bahama in the silk shirt category. This weekend i'm going through my vast collection of these and downsizing. My opinion is while Nat Nast is a bit more expensive it is worth it for the comfort and quality, i still like Tommy Bahama though..

Fog would have a vast collection of silk shirts.

I think you should consider donating your entire wardrobe to Goodwill and starting over from scratch, Fog.

I've offered my help many times. Now is actually a good time to get started, because Allen Edmonds is doing their annual Anniversary Sale, and we could get you into a few pair of grown man shoes for around $500.

Dockers are cheap pants fog.

i am comfortable with my sexuality enough to wear tortoise shell glasses...

actually i never heard it was a chick thing.

It's not a chick thing.  It's just Fog demonstrating the "spectrum" of his personality.

Fog gets weirdly homophobic when he feels threatened by something, like brown sunglasses that don't have a nose guard.

It's one of his go-to pressure behaviors.

well i may order a pair or 2 of the hobie cheapos to beat up

there is a local company here, electric.....supposed to be good.

Nice, Turtle.

This was a fun thread.

i'm glad to have provided a safe place where we can laugh and share.

http://www.electriccalifornia.com

look fog, they even have a line of male-oriented tort shells...

http://www.electriccalifornia.com/sunglasses/collections/darkside-tort.html

I sell One sunglasses in my shop.  I call them high end cheap sunglasses.  They're polarized and look pretty decent for the price.  Most go from $30-40.  I lose or break too many sunglasses to pay top dollar.

Turtle, i have heard good things about Electric. Think i might even have a pair i ordered online from a place in CO. Made a mistake and should have gone with the better lens on those. Maybe wore them once or twice.. Those dark torts look good you should go try a pair on and see how they feel. The darker accent gives them a better look imo.

Mark, i have a pair of Allen Edmonds, good solid suggestion.

I have a nice pair of root beer polarized flax jackets, brown.

Dockers are not cheap. They are comfortable, well made and fashionable.

Turtle, here is the place i ordered my Electrics from. PA not CO.

Wishing you many sunny days.

Mainstay polarized?

Looks like you can get polarized, on sale for $90.

Thank you, Scott!

This thread is amazing! It will save our civilization.

Mine are prescription. I save old frames from past pairs of glasses and have made into sunglasses.

rsz_img_0904.jpg

I asked this Q a little over a year ago on the oldzone, someone suggested Sunski and they are great for me.

I'd cross check snowdeals on comparison pricing.

My father just gave me a pair of Alden suede tassel loafers. Evidently, Alden's make Allen Edmonds look like Payless shoes.

For work and day to day active stuff, I have a pair of $20 polarized frames I usually get off the rounder of some big box store.  I'm always grinding metal or having plaster rain down on me and go through them pretty quickly, so I dont work with anything too precious.

But I have a pair of carbon framed Aviators in the truck for driving and for outside social affairs.  We do a lot of standing around in barns and fields here drinking bourbon, trying to look nice and respectable, so it helps with the image.

Love those shades Hall posted.

>>Looks like you can get polarized, on sale for $90.

Sure you can, as long as you don't want glass lenses (quality). Looks like Turtle wanted nighttime shades.

i'm not a boat captn g-train.

$100 is enough.

>>>My father just gave me a pair of Alden suede tassel loafers. Evidently, Alden's make Allen Edmonds look like Payless shoes

Pretty much, yeah. Alden are arguably the highest quality American made shoes ever.
