As the son of a Swede, I have mixed feelings.
Practically, it is good for Sweden (like Finland before them) to be better protected from Russian expansion. The flip side is that after over 100 years of neutrality, Sweden will once again be a country directly involved in wars. With a reasonable chance that Donald Trump will regain the White House, that won't be a good cart to be hitched to. The crazy idiot just went off script at a MAGA-Fascist rally this weekend and urged Putin to invade NATO members who are delinquent in their dues. Just one more reason Trump must be defeated.
