Syria

Forums:

After four years of stalemate in Syria's long-running civil war, things are moving very fast and it doesn't bode well for Assad.

Good thing the incoming US administration is full of the most eminently qualified, level headed people to deal with what will surely be a messy aftermath.

What is Aleppo?

"...and it doesn't bode well for Assad."

There's a guy nobody will miss.

Or will it be a case of the devil you know?

I predict eternal turmoil. Sadly, a safe bet for that neighborhood.

Maybe they Kurds get an official state for spell but Turkey sure won't play well on that.

didn't know there was much of it left on the map

Well, that was quick.   Russians and Iranians getting the hell out of dodge and who knows where Assad is?  Prisons getting opened with who knows getting out and all the various anti-government factions now racing to grab as much land and shit as they can.

Hope the powers that be have already figured out and agreed on how to divvy up the country and split the spoils.  Otherwise, it could get messy.

Def neat as a pin now

Back in the U.S.S.R., you don't know how lucky you are boy.

Just ask Quadafi or Hussein.

No doubt he is lucky, but those Dr. Evil style tunnels under his palace probably helped him escape

Meanwhile, Israel is having a field day bombing all the munitions warehouses and military hardware they can find to keep it out of the wrong hands

Assad falls out a Russian window in 3,2...1.....
