Tal Wilkenfeld

Forums:

I've been in love with her since I first saw her play with Jeff Beck years ago.  Here's a video of her singing, really great stuff.

My wife reminded me that this song was in The Affair.

I hadn't heard her sing before. She has a really nice voice. One hell of a bass player.

Buddy of mine made a big donation to the GoFundMe for her latest album. He then got to fly to LA and play a session with her and her band. He's still waiting on the tapes. Said she was very sweet, the band was supportive, and the whole thing was an awesome experience .

She brings it.

Here's some vids I shot recently of Tal at GAMH in SF.

I thought this show was entertaining but not anywhere near the virtuosity she displayed standing next to Jeff Beck.
Regardless - she's fantastically talented and very easy on the eyes (and ears.)

Looks like Colin Kapernick playing percussion in the vid Tatters Posted.

Great player.  I don't understand why people think she's hot though. She's a 5 at best.

Sorry Timmy.  She's hot.

Great story Zeke.

Hey, we can't all like the same stuff.  It's a good thing.

True enough.  I was thinking that I should have said that it's a subjective call.

But she turns me on.

One on my favorite things about the zone---looking up a video link, and being prompted on you tubes' next up vids and discovering a new (or an old) favorite.

When i watched the Tai video, two vids down was  from one of my favorite female musicians, Candy Dulfer. I hadnt listened to anything of hers in ages.

Big fan of Tai, as well.

Candy Dulfer sure could blow! Does she still?

Yes, 6 , she has a new album this year...first since 2011 i blv...and she still tours w her own band, mostly in europe though. i wonded if Floops has seen her?  She is from Netherlands i think, right? She plays that part of Europe, alot.

Rhonda Smith is Jeff's current bass player and is as good a a bassist there ever is / was & has toured the world with Jeff Beck for years.

She's a whipper snapper on the web and is a very hip lady.

Rhonda was discovered by Sheena E & Prince..
