My buddy Stephen & I had an FM radio show back in the early 80's. It was two turntables, a couple of mics and a low-wattage FM broadcast setup out of a basement in the High-School building. FM listeners could hear it campus-wide, if the transmitter was actually turned on.
We played Elvis Costello LP's, Clash & GD. WLSR I think was the call sign.
Big fun as teenagers, blasting our favorite tunes over the airwaves, maybe. If the transmitter was actually powered up.
I too had a show back in the late 70's, Thursdays nights 10-2, Phaldo's R&R show. WHSN was the station. My claim to fame was playing live stuff, mostly full sides of albums. It gave more time to burn between changing records. Good times
