Andy cool beans... see you in septembre ?

I wasn't there, especially these days daytime shows aren't really my thing and Stanley Jordan with Phil is pretty much a non-starter for me, but at 84 Phil is looking good and overall probably not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

This one was taken at last year's show, but at the same place...

Doesn't look like it would suck to be there.

First time seeing Phil since the pandemic and even though he's deteriorated to almost Biden levels on functionality, I'm still not calling for him to step down.

it was a very pleasant event and I was happy to b able to attend.

i think Jordan and Lebo make a good pair especially in terms of tone.

long live Lesh and love

Thanks for the post Andy, I was surprised nobody else posted sooner. I was only able to catch the Phil show but it was pretty special. Mikaela Davis did not make it, but I thought Phil was in good spirits and sounded fantastic. Stanley Jordan had room to breathe and he tore the roof off several times, especially during a sublime "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" that he perfectly segued into the reprise of Playin'. The weather cooperated, maybe a tad windy, but such a great venue. Phil's Chair did a brief sit-in (pun!) but Phil was all there- he even sung 1/2 step, and didn't do half bad (I haven't seen him take solo lead vocals the last few times I've seen him). I was very satisfied by the music made there. And as usual, the Marin crowd was groovy and not too scruffy. No drama, just lots of smiles.

How lucky we all were to be at the park on a beautiful day!
