They also make them shaped
They also make them shaped like a Toad. When my folks & I visited Colombia, Their buddies (our hosts) had a Toucan which vocalized like that Guajiro. If you scratched it in just the right rhythm, the Bird would get into the chant and not quit. "Brrrakkk, Brraaakkk, Brraaakkk" like that.
It's other quaint habit was to munch on tropical Fruit, splattering most of it on the walls through its cage.
The other Bird was Molly, an African Gray Parrot, who was much more sociable. She could imitate a telephone ringing (to prank out the humans) and say "Sonofabitch" & "Godamnit !!"
