Thom, why did Trump wait six months...

Forums:

to bring warm beer home? Could the kid have live if Trump brought him home in January?

Warm beer??!?

HIS NAME IS OTTO WARMBLER!!!!

(I think it is, it kind of looks weird now that I see it written down. - I know it isn't warm beer for sure)

Warmbier.

i kind of prefer Warmbler, with an "L", now that I hear it.

Except he'd been detained there for 17 months, nice show of respect for somebody's kid....

Uncharacteristically lame thread, Slack.

Trump didn't bring him home. They have been trying for 17 months. Historically, Dictator Daddy would use US political prisoners as bargaining chips. The current dictator, highly disturbed, doesn't want to play. He wouldn't even acknowledge Obama's attempts to make a trade, and only released the kid as he was on death's door.

One theory is that the kid was severely tortured months and months ago, which is why nobody has had any contact with him and all attempts to make a trade were simply ignored.

The kid was killed for taking a political poster.

One theory is<<<

Maybe I used to watch "24" too much; combined with my suspicion of Trump being capable of doing anything to achieve his own goals; leaving open the door for all sorts of possibilities.

Regardless, it is sad someone died.

When it comes to Lil' Kim, Trump isn't capable of shit. I don't think anyone's is.

Not suggesting Trump is "capable" in the sense of being qualified, but that I wouldn't put anything past him.

FUCK YOU POSEURS!!!!!! BWAAAAHHAAAHHAA<<<

Early Lagers, Fuck Yeah!

You're asking the wrong person.

Don't mistake being appalled at an attempt to take down a duly elected President with an admiration for that President.  I'm a fan of of our system of government much more than I am the man who currently holds the office.

I should also add that the lame nature of this thread is what happens when you try to combine your distaste for a persons political views with the actions of a Stalinist regime.  There really isn't any humor to be had in murderous Communist ideology.

On the other side, I'm pretty sure that I saw the Right criticize Obama for not being able to bring the kid home.

Maybe we, as a nation, need to stop politicizing everything. Do we really think that American politics are so powerful that they have control over a crazy dictator in North Korea, ISIS, or just some nutjob with bad thoughts and a gun?

Serious Business

If this were 1634 somewhere in Europe, you don't think Trump would've had scores of "dissenters" killed by now?

Apparently, the family has declined an autopsy.   Would never second guess the decision of the family if this was truly their wish, but can't help but wonder why they wouldn't be searching for answers?

Do you like thought experiments, face?

Depends.

Classic post by good old Thom.  Serious business indeed.
