Strawbud, I got to see it 10
Strawbud, I got to see it 10 times!! Garcia/Grisman did 15 public shows plus the private one at Sweetwater in Dec. '90, and I went to 13 of them.
I missed the last two in May '94 because the transmission in my bus melted down in Garberville on the way to the Warfield....Bummer, hahaha!!! Shit happens....
Which meant I never saw him do Goodnight Irene, and that sucked.
And yes on Tosca Cafe, which was redone and reopened a few years ago. You can still go and get a drink and imagine being there back then.....
