Heavy on the electronica, but JRAD and Oteil!
Any other events? I heard Pink Talking Fish is playing a sk slope in Vermont, but what are the chances it will be overcast in Vermont in early April? Probably cold and mushy on the ski slope too.

JRAD website says they are playing 4-8-23. I emailed the fest to confirm.
My brother got a campsite at a state park near Uvalde in the path of totality, but its only for the day of the eclipse and he says every other campsite and hotel in the immediate area has now jacked their prices up to $$$. The fest is apparently a deal in comparison to other camping and accommodations but worried about the loud non stop "Ump-Ja, Ump-Ja" beats of an electronica heavy fest and a bunch of flat brimmed freaks all wired on who knows what.

could be a fun time if there are some good bands on that list, but i have not heard of most of them. IME the "livetronica" stuff is often total garbage, but can occasionally be really really good. if theres a band or two that can actually bring the heat, it might be a worthwhile outing to hit this up on the day jrad plays.
