promotors did a good job -- easy peezy logistics -- 2 stages side by side and no video screens -- good food and drink choices -- nice folks, mostly boomers in attendance  -- no camping as it was in a day use only state park -- weather was close to perfect -- in and out privileges if ya needed it

Elliot Peck Band featuring Holly Bowling, Justin Mazer, Burt Lewis & Pete Lavezzoli put on an impressive performance despite never having played together before. Definitely a band of professional musicians.

Elliot has pipes and stage presence for sure. She did mostly her own stuff -- Country style ballads e.g. Gillian Welch, Dolly Parton, etc. She included a smokin Mr Charlie.

I'd like to see this band in a smokey nightclub rather than at high noon as a festival opener, but it was satisfying none-the-less.

Elliott Peck was very happy and posted *Annapolis Baygrass Festival you stole my heart!!*. I follow her on FB starting with her playing so often with Phil at TXR. Side note, Burt Lewis is her bass player, partner, was a Zoner and also played with Jerry's Middle Finger until he didn't.

Maybe not in that specific group playing those specific songs, but Elliott has played often with all of those people in her band.

Terrapin Crossroads really did create a repertory company of local musicians that's still going strong.

She's a really good singer and a super nice person, it's nice to see her get some love on the east side.

^ Yeah, Phil sure could pick 'em.-- without ever playing together, with "new" songs, with a few weeks of self-tutelage, with zero rehearsal, and no soundcheck, they jumped right in and pulled it off.

And it wasn't GD material, except for one tune. (I might have mentioned, Elliott was a quick substitution for Grahame Lesh's cancellation.)

Looks like a fun festival.
