With Maynard Ferguson one show, then with his band and then with Lionel Hampton - which was the best of the 3, only because The Who's Tommy was hot and the shows climax was Pinball Wizard
Now that I think about it, I also saw the Doors in Vancouver summer of 68 while on a teen tour. Not really sure which show came first if I’m wrong about the year of the other one. I’m old. Either way those were the first two.
My second was Ozzy Osbourne also at the Spectrum just a couple weeks later on the Diary of a Madman tour. A good show, but also a big disappointment because Randy Rhoads had died just over a month earlier. My friend who had the tix was sure they would cancel the tour & they did postpone it for a couple of weeks, but resumed in time for Philly.

1975 Bob Dylan and the Rolling Thunder Review, Bangor Auditorium, Bangor, ME. My big sis took me, I was 14. A week later we went to see Sha Na Na. I love 50's tunes too
Very cool Voodoo. Like I said, a good show, but I have to wonder what could have been had Randy Rhoads lived. The next/last time I saw Ozzy was in 1988 when he toured with Zakk Wylde aka Jeff Wielandt again at the Spectrum. He was from Jackson, NJ & graduated 2 years before I did. It was cool to see him with Ozzy after seeing him play locally for so long.
