Maybe blowback from his crack about judges. it is seriously scary that the guy can not take criticism at all. not a good trait in general, outright dangerous for the CPOTUS. (Circus Peanut Of the United States). Hes gonna bust loose with a petulant frenzy of drone missiles some day. either that or do the old tingle, clutch chest, drop.
Thank goodness we have some sensible folks in the judiciary.
Moments after the ruling was released, Trump tweeted, "SEE YOU IN COURT," adding that "THE SECURITY OF OUR NATION IS AT STAKE!"
In response, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, a Democrat who leads one of the states that challenged the ban, said: "Mr. President, we just saw you in court, and we beat you."
I'm torn between thinking that Trump is just in way over his head and is the least prepared president ever with virtually no understanding of how our government works, and thinking this is all some diabolically clever evil plot to take over the world.
For those of you who are on facebook and are interested, Robert Reich has daily "Resistance Reports." Today, he talked quite a bit about bullying, especially related to the Justice system, taking great care to attack the messenger and divert attention from the big story (ie, HIS SCOTUS nominee is disheartened by Trump's take on Judges).
I find his videos uplifting, while acknowledging the negatives.
Sorry to report that my formerly apolitical, 87 year old father sits and watches Fox news all day as part of his hermit existence. He told me today that he heard that since the courts put a stay on the Muslim ban, the US has experienced 10x the normal influx of people from Syria!
Try as I may, try as I might, could not get him to understand that this does NOT mean that unvetted, illegal aliens from Syria have been "pouring in" to the country. However, since Fox stated it, it is now gospel.
Terrifying, but speaks volumes to what's happening to normally decent human beings in our country.
Unmasking the Men Behind Zero Hedge, Wall Street's Renegade Blog
Lokey, who said he wrote much of the site’s political content, claimed there was pressure to frame issues in a way he felt was disingenuous. “I tried to inject as much truth as I could into my posts, but there’s no room for it. “Russia=good. Obama=idiot. Bashar al-Assad=benevolent leader. John Kerry= dunce. Vladimir Putin=greatest leader in the history of statecraft,” Lokey wrote, describing his take on the website's politics
Really, Fa? The Center for Immigrations Studies? The Right think-tanks warn against them as vigorously as the Left think-tanks. Only crazy liars or idiots offer them as evidence of anything; you're better than this.
Check this out from wikipedia:
Past reports by the CIS have been deemed misleading and riddled with basic errors by scholars on immigration; think tanks from across the political spectrum (such as the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, the Cato Institute, Reason Foundation, the Heritage Foundation and Center for American Progress); left-leaning, neutral and right-leaning media (including the Wall Street Journal, Politifact and NBC News); several leading nonpartisan immigration-research organizations (such as Migration Policy Institute and the American Immigration Council); and by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

I think they they intentionally tanked this roll-out in order to be able to begin trying to get their base riled up about the role of courts.

Same thing with my step dad. It's agonizing.
The only solace we have is the fact that he reads the Chicago Tribune every day.
Fox news is kind of the worst thing to happen to this country is a long while.
I wonder if Lee Atwater was never born, if that network would be here.
