Trump's election reminds me of the scene in Huckleberry Finn when the 2 raft scammers stage the "play" in each town they visit twice, knowing that at the 1st performance the audience would talk it up to the rest of the town since they would be too embarrassed to let anyone know they'd been "had", then they'd skip town w/the $$$$ before the 2nd show's performance started. 72M voted for someone other than 45. 62M voted for him. Out of that 62M, how many are truly his "core"? 30-40M is a # I recall from campaign. Some reasonable assumptions; none or certainly very little of the 72M would likely have become supporters, if we use 40M as his core - how many of the extra 22M have soured on him based on his continued unhinged or in the very least - very poorly played actions (hastily done travel ban, etc.)?, any of that core 40M who are just waking up to the fact that the ACA they've enjoyed is actually Obamacare, etc. changed their level of support? At this rate, the GOP need not worry about any backlash if/when they move to impeach or invoke the 25th.
