Turkiya?

Forums:

Did anyone get the memo that Turkey has officially changed its name? Does anyone here use that, or does everyone still say Turkey?

I was talking to this Dutch archeology student who insisted that English speakers use Turkiya now, and that I should use Google next time. But I'm here to ask you good people instead.  Anyone?

Thanks. Enjoy your day.

Only when I'm having Turkiya with stuffingya, mashed potatoesya, gravya, and cranberry sauceya.

Sounds like a Bob and Doug skit

Might work, our president -elect may not be able to locate them on a map

I'm changing my address to Yerba Buena, CA...

That's how they pronounce the name of their country.  Nothing has changed, they just want us up to speed.
One of my favorite places I've ever been.

I just call them authoritarian theocracy.

Okay! I guess I've got my answer. Thank you, good people.
