Dinner reservations get you reserved priority seating for the entire evening that is in front of general admission seating and closer to the stage. There is no additional cost to make a dinner reservation but you are required to purchase a minimum of $10 in dinner the night of the show EXCLUDING DRINKS with your food server. yes, the tables are always there. its one of these "buy a shitty over-priced dinner to sit close" venues. only standing is side-stage, otherwise all the old custies that spent $$ on dinner want to see while meat in the seated...
management, servers and overall business and how they treat people have always sucked. shitty food, no decent beer or top shelf alchool...is adjacent to the CHP station...
BUT it is intimate, and the sound is really good...
Yes, they leave the tables and they want everyone to stay seated. You can sit at the tables next to the stage only if you make a dinner reservation. The food is not great. There is a small area in the back corner where you are allowed to stand and dance.
The Coach House gets some good acts (Los Lobos, Mother Hips, and Hot Tuna are currently on the calendar), but also a lot of local unknown and cover band type acts.
