Verizon FIOS Speed Test

I've noticed that if my internets seems slow, I run a Verizon speed test on my connection and then it seems to speed up!

I wonder if they slow slow slow you down until you complain or try to verify connection.

Next time I notice it slow I'll run a different connection speed test not from verizon and see what happens.

Anyone else notice this?

I haven't noticed this but I do have a gigabyte connection and each time I have checked, it was running considerably slower than that- maybe half as fast.  What gives?
