Winter is officially over at 8:06 p.m. Pacific Time. The last four days have seen record high temps and copious sunshine in Seattle. The trees are budding, with the Cherry Trees already approaching their peak. It's beautiful now, but with the low amounts of precipitation and snowpack, we are looking at drought conditions and the high chance of another smoke-filled Summer ahead.

We're having warm sunny days,
We're having warm sunny days, too. Remember a few years ago when we shockingly had about a foot of snow on March 20th.
It's beautiful here. The trees have leaf and flower buds, the bulbs and other perennial spring flowers are blooming; it's a refreshing time, with more rain soon.
