At the very least, Trump is creating a "blueprint" ...

Forums:

... for future would be tyrants to exploit chinks in the armor that protect our system of government; that might allow it to be leveraged that much more easily for their own gain, if not to subvert it entirely.

I could see how one might think that, but Trumps "blueprint" has more holes then his head.

Our system is holding currently, Trump judges aren't siding with him and are siding with the rule of law.

So hopefully they continue to push back.

Our system is holding currently, Trump judges aren't siding with him and are siding with the rule of law<<<

Does the golfer who putts first have to sink their putt in order for the second in line to have been "shown the way"?

It's not just Trump's limited "successes" that observers will take in, but everything; failures and near misses alike.  He's clearly been pushing the envelope and as a result there's plenty to observe.

One stand out:  the "time" it takes to pursue and prosecute what might be a rock solid investigation.   Now, would be "burglers" can set their "stopwatches" as they map out and estimate dry run scenarios unfolding.

^ This article is definitely on point, but the bigger pictures seems to be an ever evolving fluid game of "cat and mouse".

If the "tyrant" in office is forwarding your agenda, you will make excuses for him/her. GOPers were saying the same thing when Obama was forwarding his agenda via Executive Order.

Way to fan the flames with hyperbole (once again). Nuance should be considered.

Calling it like it is, or at least appears be.   Are those who invested with Bernie Madoff that had suspicions, yet took the high ground of silent decorum, somehow better off?!?

Remind me when he cancels the 2020 election.

Is there a difference between being fair minded vs. appeasement?

Do some opponents even care if you're fair?

>> Is there a difference between being fair minded vs. appeasement? <<

What does that have to do with putting a golf ball?

#confusedlikefom

I used to laugh at some of the things Trump would say or do, it's been a LONG time since.

None of this is funny, not in the slightest.

Ultimately, I believe you agree.

scary segment this morning on duterte in the phillipines w/ facebook, fake news and the like.

I have faith in the rule of law, and that the other two branches will keep their end of the bargain. The house flipping is the best thing that could have happened. Have faith, grasshopper.

orange man bad!

Basket Bryen...he's a complete shit-show. Are you proud of him?

>>>None of this is funny, not in the slightest

I honestly find some of it pretty funny.

Say what you will about Trump's total lack of effective governance; he is undoubtedly one of the greatest internet trolls ever. His work on Liz Warren is the stuff of legend.

You people are more entertaining than Looney Tunes.

by 'you people' do you mean totalitarians?

True, your looney tunes president is no longer entertaining, he's repugnant

Brayin', when are you going to clarify your racist post from your California thread?

Russian journalist killed in 2017

March 17 – Yevgeny Khamaganov died of unexplained causes in Ulan-Ude, Buryatia. Khamaganov was known for writing articles that criticized the federal government and was allegedly beaten by unknown assailants on March 10.[144]

April 19 – Journalist and former prisoner of conscience Nikolay Andrushchenko died in Saint Petersburg from wounds that he received from a severe beating by unknown assailants on March 9. Andrushchenko was the co-founder of the newspaper Novy Petersburg and was previously jailed in 2009 by a city court for "libel and extremism".[145]

May 24 – Dmitry Popkov was found dead from gunshot wounds at a bathhouse close to his home in Minusinsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai. Popkov was the chief editor of the newspaper Ton-M and was known for investigating police corruption.[146]

Killed in 2018

September 8 - The body of Andrey Ruskov was found in the Bira River in Birobidzhan, Jewish Autonomous Oblast. Ruskov worked for the Bestvideo Broadcasting Studio.[147]

April 15 – Maksim Borodin died of injuries from falling out of a window at his apartment in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, on April 12. Authorities classified the death as suicide while colleagues reject the notion. Borodin regularly wrote on crime, corruption, and the recent involvement of Russian mercenaries in Syria.[148]

July 23 – Denis Suvorov was found dead after being stabbed by an unknown assailant in Nizhny Novgorod. Suvorov worked for the Vesti-Privolzhye television station and was an editor for the Vesti.Nizhny Novgorod internet portal.[149][150]

Then there's the Sawdis

Why do republicans masturbate to the dismembered body of Jamal Khashoggi???

Brayin', i couldn't figure out how someone who claims to once supported Democrats came to support Trump.

Sure, you post inane right wing propaganda about Clinton,  but that just makes you appear stupid. I don't think you're stupid,  so I assumed you were gaslighting us.

After reading a bit of your racist beliefs,  i get that it's Trump's racist rhetoric which attracts you.

With this in mind, here are of some of your fellow racist POS who also support Trump...

brayintheracist87.jpg

brayintheracist0.jpg

Brayin', which one of the neo-nazis is a very fine person?

Maybe Thom can point you to a stromfront link to help you out?

And again,  please clarify your racist post from your California thread.

It's really like you folks have never read a history book in your lives.

So here's a hint.  If you want to read up on blueprints for totalitarianism, try Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Mussolini, and Pol Pot.  Throw Castro in for good measure.

And if you really want to include Trump in that list you are proving yourself to be functionally illiterate.

I'm so relieved - Trump isn't creating a blueprint for totalitarianism, he's just following one. I feel so much better now.

I am glad that Thom included "right" wing as well as "left" ist dictators. It doesn't really matter if the means of production are owned by corporations or the government -  it's still totalitarianism.

Thom, that's funny coming from a psuedo intellectual who has cited stormfront in the past.

Here's some history for you. Can you tell me who this describes?

"His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it."

https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/a-psychological-analysis-of-adolph-...

Maybe you can help Brayin' out? Could you please point out the fine people among the neo-nazis in the photo above?

"Having the solution he then begins to look for facts which will prove that it is correct. In this procedure he is very clever and by the time he presents it to his associates, it has the appearance of a rational judgment. Nevertheless, his thought processes proceed from the emotional to the factual instead of starting with the facts as an intellectual normally does. It is this characteristic of his thinking process which makes it difficult for ordinary people to understand Hitler or to predict his future actions. His orientation in this respect is that of an artist and not that of a statesman."

Lumber, I realize you're just parroting your cable overlords with the newfound strategy of falsely accusing people of racism, but I would challenge you to cite a direct quote of anything I've ever mentioned that can be construed as racist.  Go ahead, copy and paste a direct quote...when you fail to do so, [which you will] your little ruse will exposed for what it is.  And yes...you guys are completely brainwashed, you'd never admit it's because of CNN, but I'm sure it's your preferred source of propaganda.  Enjoy the day.

>>>>>but I'm sure it's your preferred source of propaganda

I never watch it. Do you watch Fox News, Bryen?

Stop asking Thom and Bryen questions.

^ sure you don't

edit: "be" exposed

Bryen, you're always crying about CNN. You seem somewhat obsessed by it. Perhaps it is you who is brainwashed.

Somehow the same 7 or so of you [it's about 7 +/-] basically regurgitate CNN's talking points so I figure it's a pretty safe bet.

Bryen, you would only "know" this if you were a CNN watcher.

I often watch CNN to find out what the 7 of you will say next.

do you watch fox news, bryen?

I watch/read plenty of news from plenty of sources, news & sports mostly...an occasional movie.  Excited for the upcoming season of "The Crown".

so yes. lol.

season 3 should be out any day now, it's television at a very high level

Thank you for finally addressing this, Brayin'. The statement I'm referring to was posted in your California thread...

The Coast of California Must Be Somewhere Over Here

I have copied and pasted this quote at least three times.  And i have asked you to clarify the comment probably a dozen times.  So here it is again...

"...it isn't coincidence or happenstance that the revolution of consciousness is rooted in the farthest westerly points of the good earth...it's divine providence."

I am particularly curious about the divine providence part

I listen to NPR. I like PBS and APR.  I haven't watched CNN since the late 90's...headline news

I watch Fox, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN, FS1, PBS, CNBC etc...

Kill your television.

So just to be clear...this is your cited example of my being a racist?

"...it isn't coincidence or happenstance that the revolution of consciousness is rooted in the farthest westerly points of the good earth...it's divine providence."

>>>>>is rooted in the farthest westerly points of the good earth.

A racist or a flat-earther.

Yes. I guess you missed it the several times that i asked about it.

It reminds me of some of Rep Steve King's nonsense. Particularly the divine providence part.

I'm not sure if you're well traveled, but there's a big difference between the northeast and the Bay Area, will someone explain to me how that is racist?

You sound like Bill Maher, surf.

Orange County = cultural diversity?

Little bit harder, just a little bit more,
A little bit further than you gone before.

^ Is there not a "bizarro world" version of this motivational sentiment for those who seek to erode our institutional norms / safeguards in order to leverage the system for their own gain?

Spock_(mirror).jpg

I doubt Spock would employ false accusations of racism as a political strategy

>>>>Orange County = cultural diversity?

Think so.

Good for them, I'd say California is pretty culturally diverse also.

Brayin', Orange County Lumber Truck is a song.

So God shines down upon those in the West? How about all those revolutions in consciousness rooted in Asian culture? I guess God doesn't care so much for that, eh?

I get it, Brayin', most racist don't believe that they are racist. Maybe this is why you cannot see the racism inherent in trump's rhetoric?

I think I get it, virtually any statement can be twisted and manipulated to be racist if you don't support the democrats?  Is that more of less the gist of it?

Lumber, its pretty clear he was saying east coast versus bay-area, and not western civilization versus eastern cultures. I don't think his intent was racist. I do think you're trying to make this something it isn't and it undermines your typically well thought out posts.

Carry on...

Westward migration is racist?

Northward migration is a dangerous and unlawful invasion.

Bryen, you're falling into the trap that snares Thom many times. Speaking from an ivory tower using terms like "you people" and "brainwashed" does not advance the dialogue.
I like to treat people here individually and treat them with respect. I will also call it like I see it. There is no Us and no Them.

Are you ok with us leaving England in the first place?  Was that racist too?

Ned, respectfully...there is certainly a "mockingbird" effect at play here, that's pretty transparent.

"us"

By "us" leaving England I was referencing our nation, is that politically correct enough for you people?

Divine providence:

In theology, divine providence, or just providence, is God's intervention in the Universe. The term Divine Providence (usually capitalized) is also used as a title of God. A distinction is usually made between "general providence", which refers to God's continuous upholding of the existence and natural order of the Universe, and "special providence", which refers to God's extraordinary intervention in the life of people.[1] Miracles generally fall in the latter category.[2

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divine_providence

It's not the migration part, it's your point of view that the revolution of consciousness is rooted in western thought, be it the bay area, Brooklyn, or western Europe, and that this is somehow divine providence.

I do believe that Northern California was in its own way an origin of the revolution of consciousness, I do attribute that to Divine Providence...Basel, Switzerland was also in its own way an origin of the revolution of consciousness, I believe that too was an example of Divine Providence.

No examples, please.

The point being, as stated in the original thread, was that when Garcia sang the lyrics "the coast of California must be somewhere over here, over here" I think it is likely those same thoughts were present.

When you use Capital Letters like that, is that the Hand of God holding down the Shift key?

>> I think it is likely those same thoughts were present. <<

Opinion based on what? He didn't write the lyrics.

Hunter wrote the lyrics, while Garcia was singing them he was certainly free to reflect on them.  How that has anything to do with identity politics is escaping me, but I suppose all roads lead to Rome in the new normal of divide & conquer.

IMG_4435_1.PNG

>> Hunter wrote the lyrics, while Garcia was singing them he was certainly free to reflect on them. <<

Absolutely. But, claiming his thoughts were "likely" one thing versus another is complete bullshit.

"Divine" providence

"General" providence

"Special" providence

God OWNS providence.

When Garcia sang those lines he was clearly making reference to organic marijuana farms that he missed from California

I mean, if we're gonna interpret shit about what Jerry was thinking when he sang certain lines, than anything goes, right?

Exactly. He was probably, no, he was likely thinking about the bacon wrapped shrimp backstage.

Later in the same song Jerry sings about being in San Francisco on a back porch in July, that month often reminds one of the 4th of July, there is also a reference to a crimson, white & Indigo flag planted on the moon's surface in 1969, all of these references are a result of western migration, exploring the "New World" & the American Revolution.  One might think it is by no means coincidence that the revolution of consciousness, or the exploitation of the Space [JPL], and ultimately the final frontier...the human mind, happened to have roots in California.  That's a testament to both humanity's endeavors and Divine Providence.

Tucker Carlson doesn't believe any of that shit.

Divine providence = I Need A Miracle?

My hope for this community is we appreciate America as much as Jerry did.  Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, we have a lot to be thankful for...we're all lucky to be here!

Should have known this wouldn't have anything to do with Tha Carter.

We all love America, we don't love the "meriKKKa"  Trump is creating...

we love our African American friends and neighbors

we love our Gay American friends and neighbors

we love our Muslim, Jewish, Atheist, and folks of all religions (including Christians)

we love our Central and South American neighbors

we love our journalists and don't want them murdered like the conservatives do

we love the rule of law and the constitution

we love helping our neighbors when they're victims of disaster (not just throw towels or rakes at them as we blame them)

we know how to say the name of the place where the disaster(s) took place

we honor our troops and their service, and will embrace the rain in order to show respect to the sacrifices they've made

we visit our troops in the field (well, the liberal entertainers who get clearance to do so do anyway, along with democratic politicians )

we love our huddled masses  (not berate, insult, and drive them into huddled masses)

we love our sisters, daughters, mothers, and don't want them objectified, discriminated against, or grabbed by the pussy

We don't love assholes that love stirring up trouble, have zero accountability, and can only insult in vague terms while demonstrating no credibility on any issue.

We love America, and Americans (including north americans, central americans, south americans, native americans, and americans abroad...  especially our journalist that put themselves in harms way everyday like our troops do)

Keep on loving America Druba, glad to hear it!  Happy Thanksgiving!

Who the hell said they wanted journalists murdered?

>all these references are a result of western migration, exploring the "New World" & the American Revolution.  One might think it is by no means coincidence that the revolution of consciousness, or the exploitation of the Space [JPL], and ultimately the final frontier...the human mind, happened to have roots in California.  That's a testament to both humanity's endeavors and Divine Providence.<

Exploring the new world and western migration? Are you saying that God was complicit with Native American Genocide?

And space exploration was a result of the arms race with the USSR.

I used to be on Grateful Dead tour with a Native American, does anyone one on this message board remember Crow?  He used to have Martin Luther King tie dyes with the words "all a dream we dreamed one afternoon long ago" on them...he loved America, I can attest to that...more than most.  Have a good Thanksgiving Lumber.

>>> I used to be on Grateful Dead tour with a Native American <<<

I used to tour with a Native American named Ira...

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

Crow was friends with this woman, Debbie...we were all on the "Terrapin Transportation" school bus with "keep the scene clean" Steve

IMG_3830_0.JPG

Ira from wrecking crew?

I always got along fine with Ira, I know he was close with Fast Eddie

Brayin', would you agree that new world exploration and settlement came at the expense of the folks already here? Similarly,  that westward expansion and settlement resulted in the death and the resettlement of the native people?

Therefore,  if you contend that Devine Providence shined down upon those folks, does that mean that God picked a side?

>>> Crow was friends with this woman, Debbie...we were all on the "Terrapin Transportation" school bus with "keep the scene clean" Steve <<<

IMG_1356.JPG

And then everyone he knew voted for Trump or watched CNN and didn't.

Lumber, I would agree that you are a complete ________, Native Americans and Europeans have assimilated as well as they can I suppose, truth be known there were probably atrocities on both sides of that fence, isn't the spirit of Thanksgiving that we can all give thanks together as pilgrims & Indians?  Does it always have to be some Don Lemon confrontation out of thin air?  Have a nice Thanksgiving.  I'm glad you love America, it warms my heart!

So God was neutral?

Just trying to understand your idea of Divine providence.

>Does it always have to be some Don Lemon confrontation out of thin air<

If i think someone is an asshole, i am pretty direct about it.  Maybe it's an east coast thing?

Trippers For Trump 2020!

IMG_1357.JPG

all the best Lumber, have a happy Thanksgiving

I remember Ira as about 6' 10", 270...a gentle giant, always having a good time

>>> I always got along fine with Ira, I know he was close with Fast Eddie <<<

When you speak Bryen all I hear is Verbal Kint

IMG_1358.JPG

is that so?

So you were on the road with Ira?  I find that a bit hard to believe, whereabouts?

>>> is that so? <<<

Keyser Söze serious.

>>> So you were on the road with Ira?  I find that a bit hard to believe, whereabouts? <<<

Lol.

So when you mean "I used to tour with Ira", is that like going from Oakland Coliseum to the AM/PM on a beer run, or actually going on tour for more than a weekend?

For instance, when I was on the road with Crow it was Massachusetts to California...is that the kind of tour you're referencing?

the whole conservative deadhead thing is a real head scratcher.

Happy Thanksgiving Turtle...some climb

The Only Print From Trump I Want To See Is His DOA Printout From The Coroner.

Bryen - Let's just say I'm gonna have to see your shoes...

You do a lot of name dropping around here and I will say this, that's just something we didn't/don't do.

Either you know that or you don't.

I wish I had back the last few minutes I spent skimming, and at times, reading this thread...and I'm a notoriously fast speed reader.

...where did the time go?

Happy Thanksgiving Steve

Got real uber innie than thou in here.

i shook Phil's hand in Walnut Creek once.

Bryen, I don't care whose bringing the message as long as they got it right.

If you're confident at all with the word salad bullshit you're spewing, you can do it without the "I ran with ___ " can't you?

Now I'm gonna go get warm on the bus, It gets cold here at Greyhound Rock.

- Namaste

I’ll agree that “The Crown” is fine TV. Season 1, in particular, had some amazing moments. There was someone very poignant about the scene when Elizabeth’s father has just died. She ran in to the palace, and when her mom dropped to her knees and bowed to her, the new queen.

It doesn’t change the fact that Trump is a fucking douchebag. One doesn’t have to watch the talking heads on cable news to figure that out. I’m not calling him a racist, or saying that he colluded, but damn, the guy is a classless piece of shit. Even his supporters should recognize that hat fact.

I got a pretty good Greyhound Rock story...I'll leave the names out of it, so there's like 10 of us camping at Greyhound Rock that decide to hitchhike to the Bob Dylan show at the Warfield, obviously we had to split up into groups, but we all made it to Market Street and every one of us scored a ticket into the show, sometime fairly early in the evening Jerry walks on stage, grabs a black Fender Stratocaster and plays Idiot Wind for like 15 minutes with Dylan, then nonchalantly walks off stage with a casual wave to the audience.

>>>>>there were probably atrocities on both sides of that fence

"good people on both sides".

Anybody else have a greyhound rock story?

Does smoking rock on a Greyhound bus count?

Last time I drove by there I ended up at the David Bruce winery...    they made really good wine

If that's how you did tour I think it counts. Gravitas.

Even if it wasn’t with Fast Eddie and Jerry, backstage at the Warfield, while wearing Dylan’s leather pants?

As long as the bus was driving west.

Touch heads have a disproportionately more Repubs among their demographic.

You should have seen how they acted at shows.

Were they the ones selling cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches?

Ok...so I looked into it, season 3 of The Crown has been delayed until 2019, but in the event some of you haven't seen seasons 1 & 2 and have Netflix you should check it out, it is television at an extremely high level, it will also put a next generation HD system through its paces.  John Lithgow "becomes" Sir Winston Churchill, the cinematography is beautiful, you'll really like it.

THE CROWN Season 1 TRAILER

They were the ones wearing Guatie shorts and color coordinated Polo shirts, collar flipped. Ann Coulter drove their bus.

IMG_4779.JPG

So, this Bryen guy just basically throws inflammatory rhetoric all over the place, never answers clear and valid questions, never provides any evidence or argumentation for any of the random shit he spews, equates genocidal American military actions as equivalent to Native Americans fighting to defend their land....

And then he starts talking about how much Dead tour he did and how innie he is, and every one rolls over and starts talking shop with the guy? So strange.

I only ever saw one Dead show. 94, RFK. Met and saw tons of cool people. Also met and saws tons of junkies, crackheads, criminals and deranged weirdos who could only get away with existing on Dead tour since clearly they would never be able to actually function in society.

So in short, who gives a shit how many Dead shows you saw or how many tours you did? If you're an asshole who just tries to piss people off than that's all that defines you. Up yours and Jerry's, too.

Bryen is an obvious and blatant troll, and so many here just take the bait on the regular. He manipulates you this way, then manipulates you that way, and many just seem to sway along in his wake. Strange world we live in...

Yeah, that's because you and Thom are both pricks who contribute nothing, attack constantly, are incapable of coherently defending or analyzing any view point, and in your case, who constantly deflects by turning to ridiculous and meaningless comments about what an amazing person you are because you spent years of your life following a drug band. Whee! Congratulations! You must be right about Trump, I mean, you saw the Grateful Dead 250 times! Wow!

Maybe you're just triggered by beautiful pictures

IMG_4781.JPG

Maybe you're just not smart enough to have an actual conversation with adults?

Enjoy the day...I hope you feel better

What was wrong with the Monet you posted that you then changed for the landscape shot? Was it too intellectual for you? Afraid someone might ask you a question about it and then you would have to start talking about how you picked coke chunks off of Jerry's rug one time?

It was actually a Van Gogh, then I remembered it was photography that set you off on a tizzy, not paintings

But can you make a chick squirt?

I'm pretty good at frisbee

"It was actually a Van Gogh"

Huh, interesting. My bad.

You see how that works, Bryen? It's called learning from other people, listening to them. Now say something coherent about the stupid political talking points you spew around here. Go ahead. I'll wait.

I noticed you were at RFK...one of my favorite things to do in DC is to go to the Smithsonian National Gallery of Art, it's free...you just walk in off the street and you can get within inches of masterpiece works

At this point, if it was only about "conservatism".

"Now say something coherent about the stupid political talking points you spew around here. Go ahead. I'll wait."

Here's the latest, then I have a bunch of stuff to do...flipping through the channels last night I started to notice the subtle nuance of the various punditry ever so slightly beginning to hedge on the Mueller findings, it was a common theme across several different networks, so you heard it here first, just like I've been trying to tell you guys for months, it's a complete scam.  I just thought I'd let you know so you don't sound silly at Thanksgiving dinner in front of your relatives, you're welcome.

Enjoy the day!

Ok Bryen, let's try this:

Since you believe the Mueller investigation is a complete scam, how do you respond to the FACT that several people have already been indicted, and several have plead guilty? Are those indictments also a scam? How so?

1) George Papadopoulos, former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser, was arrested in July 2017 and pleaded guilty last October to making false statements to the FBI. He got a 14-day sentence.

2) Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chair, was indicted on a total of 25 different counts by Mueller’s team, related mainly to his past work for Ukrainian politicians and his finances. He had two trials scheduled, and the first ended in a conviction on eight counts of financial crimes. To avert the second trial, Manafort struck a plea deal with Mueller in September 2018.

3) Rick Gates, a former Trump campaign aide and Manafort’s longtime junior business partner, was indicted on similar charges to Manafort. But in February he agreed to a plea deal with Mueller’s team, pleading guilty to just one false statements charge and one conspiracy charge.

4) Michael Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser, pleaded guilty last December to making false statements to the FBI.

5-20) 13 Russian nationals and three Russian companies were indicted on conspiracy charges, with some also being accused of identity theft. The charges related to a Russian propaganda effort designed to interfere with the 2016 campaign. The companies involved are the Internet Research Agency, often described as a “Russian troll farm,” and two other companies that helped finance it. The Russian nationals indicted include 12 of the agency’s employees and its alleged financier, Yevgeny Prigozhin.

21) Richard Pinedo: This California man pleaded guilty to an identity theft charge in connection with the Russian indictments, and has agreed to cooperate with Mueller. He was sentenced to 6 months in prison and 6 months of home detention in October.

22) Alex van der Zwaan: This London lawyer pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI about his contacts with Rick Gates and another unnamed person based in Ukraine. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and has completed his sentence.

23) Konstantin Kilimnik: This longtime business associate of Manafort and Gates, who’s currently based in Russia, was charged alongside Manafort with attempting to obstruct justice by tampering with witnesses in Manafort’s pending case this year.

24-35) 12 Russian GRU officers: These officers of Russia’s military intelligence service were charged with crimes related to the hacking and leaking of leading Democrats’ emails in 2016.

Finally, there are two other people Mueller initially investigated, but then handed over to others in the Justice Department to handle. Both eventually agreed to plea deals.

Michael Cohen: Trump’s former lawyer pleaded guilty to 8 counts — tax and bank charges, related to his finances and taxi business, and campaign finance violations, related to hush money payments to women who alleged affairs with Donald Trump.

Sam Patten: This Republican operative and lobbyist pleaded guilty to not registering as a foreign agent with his work for Ukrainian political bigwigs, and agreed to cooperate with the government.

That’s the full list, but we’ll delve into the charges in a bit more detail below.

The four ex-Trump aides who struck plea deals with Mueller

Seems like it would have to be more than a scam to have already achieved all those indictments and guilty pleas, no? Wouldn't that be more like a conspiracy? If so, who's in on it? Evidence?

The indictments have nothing to do with Russian collusion.

So, you didn't answer the question, deflected from it rather, and then posted a youtube video. Let me try again, see if this time you can read the question:

Since you believe the Mueller investigation is a complete scam, how do you respond to the FACT that several people have already been indicted, and several have plead guilty? Are those indictments also a scam? How so?

to the woodshed!

Let me try to explain, maybe you should read these words slowly as to comprehend, the indictments have nothing to do with Russian collusion...repeat that out loud several times slowly in front of a mirror to get some practice in before the big meal tomorrow.

The

indictments

have

nothing

to

do

with

Russian

collusion.

You're doing better already...good job!

Bryen, how do you "know" there was no collusion?

Unless you work in the White House, you don't.

You can't prove a negative, in any case.

Maybe there was, maybe there wasn't.

Let's find out.

Maybe it was just ordinary corruption. Don't you want to know about that?

Do I detect hedging?  It seems as if there's a bit of hedging...there's a lot of that going on all of the sudden.  Why is that?

It seems not that long ago many on this message board were quite convinced the Trump campaign colluded with Russia...remember those days?

If Tiffany gets her law degree, can she join the justice department and help take down her family or will she have to recuse herself?

You remember...that's why Hillary lost, because the Trump campaign colluded with Russia, does that ring a bell?

um, not a lawyer, but don't most of the pleas, indictments and allegations revolve around campaigns and russia?

They are "process crimes", nothing to do with colluding with Russia to tilt an election.

...and Turtle my sarcasm was not directed at you, this Andean Flight guy just seems on the warpath today, which is fine I suppose, anyhow, much respect

Namaste beautiful people, I have a bunch of stuff to do, I hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for friends and foes alike around here and wish everyone nothing but the very best!

Bryen, how do you "know" there was no collusion?

We think there was, but we don't know, so we want it investigated.

You "know" there wasn't, so no investigation needed.

You don't have to believe everything you think.

Just got to the point where Grant makes a stand against Johnson in "Grant" (Chernow) in early 1868 ... it's all extremely fascinating to learn in much greater detail than I had ever encountered (although admittedly have never bothered to).

There are a lot of interesting parallels in so far as how a divided country becomes entrenched in tribalism; to the point of ignoring "higher principles" and sweeping truth under the rug in effort to maintain power structures that benefit "the few".

I suppose we're always creating "blueprints", but some some of them are more detailed and poignant than others.

I'm not particularly on the warpath or anything like, I'm just fed up with you. So again, you once again did not answer the questions I asked you. I'm not asking what the indictments are about I'm asking why you think it is a scam. Clearly, the fact that several people have pled guilty is evidence enough that the investigation was necessary. So according to you it's a scam because it's not close enough to the topic that you feel was central to the justifying premise of the investigation, yes? In that case, do you think it's possible that Mueller has been proceeding through the investigation in a manner that will allow him to get to the Russia collusion topic? Isn't there enough evidence of people interacting with Russians in suspicious manners that may justify asking if there was collusion or not?

In other words, don't you think it's possible that in order to get to the central claim of Russian collusion Mueller necessarily must proceed as he has?

If you insist that it's a scam, could you define what that means for you? Is Mueller a puppet of other people giving orders only to create a media circus in persecution of Trump?

Or is Mueller himself the architect of this scam?

How many people need to be informed about this scam in order for it to work and nothing about it to leak out?

I find it odd that Zoners have a problem with Bryen.

What if the Mueller investigation turns out to be a nothing burger?

If that's the case, then an apology to Bryen should be in order.

Some Zoners can be downright aggressive in nature and let politics ruin their day.

The put-downs and name-calling are so lame.

Bryen is the Ass-Glitter Sock Troll.

And I don't give an F what you think is lame.
