Thanks for letting us know, Voodoo

Sending all good healing vibes

much love from US!!!

I'm thinking that Mr. Chuck M. met many Zoners in this thread at Hoover Rescue Command Control Center (HRCCC) back when after Teaneck  DNB shows.

That was a Very Nice batch of Folks dedicated toward Hoover Preservation, and keeping each other company while the Evening evolved.

There were new Friendships established, and Great Carmaraderie.

If Mr. Chuck. M can Zone with us all this Evening, I hope that this nostalgiac note hits the Healing Vibe.

Also, an Epic DNB show that night,  which (of course) melted Faces in many ways.

My Dog still talks about It, but was not There, spy02.jpg

(((Heal quickly and completely, Chuck)))

Glad to hear that he's still with us.  Get well Chuck!

Poor guy. He posted in February he has tickets and was psyched too see David Bromberg.

Hang tough Mr. M.   You and David Nelson should become pen pals while in recovery.  speedy recuperation mang.

((((( ChuckM )))))

So I spoke with ChuckM this afternoon, and he is alive & kickin' but laid up for a while.  Got in a wreck driving home from work on the County road, some serious fractures with a couple/few surgeries needed.

Anyway he sounded in Good Spirits, and I'll visit later this week with some fresh Tunes. Apparently the Food is OK there, and the Nurses are all beautiful twenty-somethings who(m) bicker over whose turn it is for Chakra therapy and sponge baths.

So he's in good hands.  The staff said I can bring Hüsky but warned me that the elderly folks will try to steal H.I.M.

yes

good field reporting Disco !!

Thanks, Stu. Please give him our vibes, love, best wishes, fond regards, etc.

Damn, sounds like long, hard, road ahead... Heal up, Chuck!

It is all a bummer, but ChuckM will prevail.  He did not get internal organs mushed-up or have a leg severed.  Also he resides in Jerseyland, so is a Tough Dude by Mother Nature's selection process.

That fellow is an incredibly intelligent and adaptable Huperson, with all sorts of amazing Luck.

I saw him win the 50/50 raffle at a benefit Show down at the coast a while back.  He won a Lamborghini submersible AWD with Laser weapons, Shark-tank and liek, 64 bucks.  The Broads were all over Him to go for a cruise in that thing.

Get well soon {{{{Chuck}}}}

ChuckM, get well soon.  Positivity and healing !!!

Chuck Man.. Get well soon...Great stand up guy!!

Hey Chuck!

continued healing and sweetness your way!

may you be back better than beforeheart

UPDATE ::

Went to visit ChucKM at the rehab facility, a sprawling campus with various pavilions for different groups. His building is a one-story modern building with not that many rooms,  a couple nice dining facilities (one all tableclothy with lovely decor) and a good Woodsy view out the window. Brought some reading material & new Tunes and of course,  Hüsky. The other patients all wanted to pet H.I.M. and scratch his fuzzy ears, he was cool with that, though he's never been around people in wheelchairs before.

Anyway Chuck is done with all the surgery but not quite mobile yet.  The care center is close to his place, so friends and family are visiting all the time. The staff were all really nice.  Met ChuckM's Mom, a retired Librarian; she said she wants to get a Dog and go visiting nursing homes, & read to people.  Actually their Family doctor built the place.

All I had to do with Dawg for clearance was show his vacc. certificate, but he is well-behaved in public spaces and gets along with everybody.

So the Food is OK and Chuck will be up & around in no time at all.

So nice of you to visit ChuckM. Thank you for the update; being done with all of the surgeries is great, onwards to mobility. Having visits from family and friends must mean so much to him. No, not H.I.M., him. Mom's idea of taking a dog and going to read to people in nursing homes is sweet. The people will love it.

Does Hüsky have a (domestic) passport in which to record his vaccinations and field trips?

That Dawg is antithetically against the concept of any type of "Dog Passport" by birthright and History.  He's bred for Freedom.  Of course, he's got his papers, but that's not stopping H.I.M. from running North to Yukon.  He just happens to like it here, for now.

So when the Bolshevic Rockefeller - funded Bankster society rolled Russia into the communist regime,  Siberians were against all that shiite.

Siberian Hüsky Dawgs were part of the Locals' mobility and resistance effort.

Commie fuckheads could never take over that area, as the Dawgs could roll where tanks could not.  Sled-teams kept the People Free.

Independent Siberians did actually export Good Breeding stock to Alaska, but maintained sovereignty against the illegal  Stalinist - Leninist invader hordes, Thanks to the Hüskies.

The Communist gov't actually granted some sort of Independent rights to Siberia at that time.  You could look it all up, but the Hüsky Dawgs were key in that.

right on. love and best wishes chuckm!

Good to hear ChuckM is on the road to recovery!

Reality stirred me
My angel had heard me
The prayer had been answered
A reprieve has been granted

Great News! Heal fast, don't over do it. Rest is your friend.

Good news, indeed, and what Bart said. Wishing Chuck a speedy recovery.

I believe that ChuckM is about to be back on the InterWeb, pretty soon.

He will probably say, "How da fuk did D. Stu turn this into a Hüsky thread, liek always,,,"

Then again, the other inpatients at the facility really enjoyed petting the Fuzzy Dawg and scratching his Ears.

There were old ladies in Wheelchairs with Oxygen tanks petting his furry face, and saying "Nice Doggie" & "Ooohh how Cute He is."

But anyway, ChuckM is on the way to mobility pretty soon.  He would like more Zappa CD's if  that is possible.

If anyone wants to send a Zappa CD-R my way, I'll bring them over next time I visit.

Stu, I'll take care of the Zappa. Any particular requests?

Lumber,

I am not certain, but will ask.

Probably a chunk of the 'Shut Up & Play Yer Guitar' series would be the right stuff.

Or a selection of 'Beat The Boots' series.

There is so much FZ material out there, and the vast majority is great stuff.

Be well soon,Chuck.

So,

Lumber Truck --

ChuckM  says "Shut up & Play Yer Guitar" series is Great, or whatever.

His thought was "Any Instrumental Zappa theme would sound Good."

If you burn some  CD-R material,  we can arrange the meet-up.

Or, a slower approach would be the P.O. box.

Let me know, or call on the phone.

You're doing good work for ChuckM, y'all.

Doubling down on healing vibes for our guy.

((((ChuckM)))

Wow, thanks for all the well wishes & healing vibes everybody. You guys are the best & I sure appreciate it.

I saw the dr who did the surgery on my broken heel Tuesday & he took the sutures out & said the surgery went well  I see the dr who did the broken wrist surgery next week.  Both fractures are on my right side & I'm right handed so it's gonna take some time. The worst pain is the 3 ribs I broke & there's not much to do but let them heal.  I'm in pretty good spirits overall tho.

The therapy facility I'm in is pretty nice & the nurses, aides & therapists are really nice & do great work.  Food's pretty good too so that helps.  It's mostly folks over 60 so it's kinda funny being thought of as the young guy.

Stu,, thanks a bunch for coming by.  Always cool to see ya & it was nice that you bought H.I.M. with ya  My mom loved hm & thinks he's a great dog.  I'm making good use of the cd's to pass the time & plan to start reading Sanctuary over the weekend.

I'm def bummed about missing David Bromberg esp since it's on my b-day,  but he's usually around at least a couple times a year, so there'll be other opportunities.

Thanks again folks

best wishes with your recovery!

Good to have ya back

(((ChuckM)))

Nice to see you back on the black screen Chuck. Next time I visit will bring over some Rotisserie Chicken from the Peruvian place around the corner.

http://www.menupix.com/menudirectory/menu.php?id=380175663

"Super Pollo II", maybe menu is legible in that link.  Or there are 'Yelp' reviews.

In case you're getting bored with the food there. Chicken was great, as was the salad, they have all sorts of stuff besides.

And nice meeting your Mom.

So update on ChuckM,

He is healing up rapidly, and the physical therapists are getting Him vertical one day at a time. My belief is that he will be jogging pretty soon, and then getting back on the Violin.

Some stitches were removed from arm fracture/laceration and they put a cast on to keep it all straight.

We feasted on Peruvian rotisserie Chicken the other day, which was a much nicer flavor compared to the standard food. 'Super Pollo Dos' down the road does it up just right. They marinate the yearling Chickens in Lime Juice & Spices, and then the dry rub of Herbs & Garlic, before going into the custom rotisserie machine. It's really Beautiful food.

Rather than waste the facility's dinnertime platter of the Evening, I put together a to-go plate of the Potato Salad and Boneless Pork McRib Thang for inclusion in Hüsky meal. Hüsky did visit again, and was very well-behaved.

All the other patients like to pet H.I.M. & scratch his fuzzy ears.

Stu, thanks again for coming by. The food was outta this world.  Chicken was delicious & so juicy it fell right off the bone. Very much appreciated. Glad H.I.M. enjoyed what you brought home. Nice of him to visit.

Hope I didn't cut you off yesterday but the nurse came in for an evaluation update. Therapy's going well & I feel a little better each day.

Peace all.

Good to see ya post, Chuck.

Right on , Stu.

Good work, Stu!

Nice to see you, Chuck.

Heal up quickly.

Great news, Chuck. Sending some West Coast Vibes your way.

Hey Chuck, a little late to the party here but I wanted to say you are definitely in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy, full, and pain-free as possible recovery.  Happy you seem to be in good spirits and a positive attitude sure doesn't hurt.

Glad Stu brought this to our attention.  Can never have too many people pulling for you.

Love will see you through. :)

Update --.

Went over there with a Pizza from one of my favorite locals today.  They may send Chuck home for a while before bringing him back. Next stage of PT needs him putting weight on the leg, which he can't do yet. So although it will be good to stay in his own place, the mobility factor will be an issue. But he's looking better all the time.

80 yr. old new roommate was a hoot. He heard us talking about Vegas and chimed in with precise geographical location of each Casino, current or defunct. Pretty sharp for a guy who's had a heart attack, pulmonary problems and some other major issue all in two weeks. "The Bellagio buffet is the only one I ever saw with Venison on the menu."  Dude has a house there which he never visits anymore.

So the food there really is OK for industrial stuff. Again the Dog got the pick of the untouched tray, some pretty good potato soup and a "Sloppy Joe". The staff kept wandering in to pet H.I.M. and he hung out with several residents in the halls. He's really taking to being an amateur Therapy Dog. Never imagined he'd be hanging around in nursing homes.

Chuck posted a picture of H.I.M. on Facebook, along with mention of your visit and the pizza.

This thread has put Disco Stu on the ZOTY shortlist. A controversial pick, perhaps; but ZOTY is ultimately about what a Zoner gives to this community, and I challenge anyone to question Stu's work here. I'm genuinely impressed, and touched, by what I've seen.

Heal up, ChuckM. Wishing you good health, my friend.

Nice thought, St. Mark.

IMG_0023_1.JPGAs Judit noted I posted a pic of H.I.M. on my fb page along with my gratitude to Stu for some much appreciated pizza. It was funny how the staff  just couldn't resist stopping in to ooh, ah & pet H.I.M. & he sure did enjoy it.

I agree Mark, Stu isn't a top notch zoner & all around good guy. It's always a pleasure to see & talk to him.

Thanks for the continued support guys. I really appreciate it. Viva la Zone indeed!

Meant to say that it was funny how the staff kept stopping in to ooh, ah & pet H.I.M.

Oof typos everywhere today.  Of course Stu IS top notch!

Hey thanks for the Kind words.

It's really a Novel experience for the Hound; he likes going into buildings full of mysterious new activities. Also I had the good fortune to discover 'Super Pollo Dos' right next door to my favorite Harbor Freight location.  So Dog is allowed in HF; when I need sandpaper or some garden-hose connectors, he gets a stroll in A/C hardware store and I get a Rotisserie Chicken cooked to perfection.

And I realize after some weeks there you get bored of the standard menu.  It's my pleasure to import some tasty snacks & shoot the breeze with y'all, and all those Nurses lavish attention upon Dawg. He's been quite well-behaved, all things considered. Your new neighbor is awesome !! Would have offered him a Slice but he's likely on a restricted Diet.

Unlike 'The Young Guy' he's had all that heart surgery... too much Mozarella might take him over the edge.

So if you're there next weekend, I recommend Cheese Steak from same place, 'Ninuzzo'. My fave is the one with Mushrooms, Peppers, Onions, but they will prepare whatever style you like.
