Well, common’. Happy 80th Mickey Hart!

Forums:

Whatever some may think about Mickey, he opened doors to the sound and revealed dimensions to the space of the Grateful Dead that they may, or not, have discovered without him.

Either way, he was and is forever a member of the Grateful Dead, and he turned 80 today, and somebody needed to say something.

Atta' boy Mickey!

Between them and the guy who could play pretty damn good guitar, that was it...

Happy B-day Mickey!  Would so love to see him with Zakir.  I've missed that opportunity and kick myself often.

Saw him in NJ in Planet Drum in 1999 and I think Zakir was in the band. Babtunde Olatunje showed up as a surprise guest. Grate show.
