I'm still not sure that I love the show. It's a bit too cerebral for my small brain to comprehend.

Best show on TV, IMO. Takes a certain level of intelligence to keep up though so I can see why most wouldn't be into it. I love a good Sci-fi and this is a great one. Hopkins was sensational throughout the series. He may be a lil to expensive to keep though.

I think that it takes more
I think that it takes more observation than intelligence. It would be really easy to miss all the hints to the past/present/future tense stuff. Without catching on to them, the show would be just friggin' confusing. It's confusing even when you do catch them, but it would be unwatchable.
it's hard to conjecture on Hopkins' return without giving up some big spoilers. I think he will, and in the past, present and future tenses.

I watched the first episode
I watched the first episode but it didn't really grab me. I have it all on my DVR though.
