Hey y'all. Doing a lot better since the back surgery. A side effect of being out of work so long is that I'm growing out my hair and beard after 25 years of shaving it all. It turns out I'm pretty frickin bald on top. I'm ready to go with the headband, and wanted to know where Headband (capital h) sources his headbands. Are they just regular bandanas rolled up and tied or are they commercially made that way?
Rob prefers his neat. Folded lengthwise exactly 5 times along the diagonal, leaving a mild puffiness for ventilation, and tied with a sailor's knot to avoid slippage. He's a master.
Rob got hooked at an early age. "It's like a drug --- or sex" he related. "Once you feel your forehead in the grip of a moist bandanna, you can never go back."
Jerry studied headbands intently and repeatedly tried his hand at headband knot-tying, but upon reflection, decided he was proud of his forehead and he was better off with funny hats.
Mike - quit fooling around with AI. That insidious technology will ultimately take over your brain like Albanian ransom-ware hijacks your computer after a PornHub session (so I've been told). Stick to MS Paint for your own health and safety.
Alan's right, this authentic pic also belongs in the headband thread. This pic was also the first seen evidence of headbands being adorned in their intended use as functional workplace apparel.
A bit more info was just revealed this afternoon. Not pictured is fellow musician and amateur photographer Paul Simon who used the early version of a camera he developed, which he affectionately named "Kodachrome", to memorialize this historic moment. As Paul was leaving days later, fate intervened at Cairo International airport when Egyptian law enforcement officials confiscated his camera, all of which eventually lead to his solo hit, "Kodachrome", approximately 4,173 years later. Believe it if you need it, if you don't just pass it on.
