What is required for a packed food item to be labled as "fancy"?

Forums:

i.e. "Fancy Ketchup"

Maybe it's the quotation marks.  Seems like it's always "Fancy".

Also, y'notice you never see Grade B "Fancy" ?

Also, y'notice you never see Grade B "Fancy" ?<<<

That kind of gets at what I'm getting at:  I can logically process Grades A, B, C ... but what are the gradient counterpart to "Fancy"?

My parents were in the fancy foods business.

"Fancy" is one of the size designations for nuts and olives, both of which we sold. Some fruits, dried and/or fresh, carry the designation.

I don't know how catsup/ketchup is graded.

It’s the specific gravity, who would have guessed that?

You learn something every day on the zone  :-)

So if I call it fancy Forbidden Fruit I can charge more??
