What will you be doing for Jerry Day?

Forums:

Hopefully no one will be paying tribute by smoking heroin.

Thursday

Get a pack of grits, eat chili cheese dogs, pic at my Geeetar  and finish the night with a speedball.

OR

Listen to a lot of JGB

Not seeing him again. Never have.

Lambchop for me.

i will be seeing james mc murtry live for $20 rather than seeing a 1991 show at the movies.

Going to the movie.

Celebrating my wife's 50th birthday.

Admit it Johnny, that's why you married her.

In all honesty, how soon after you met her did you tell her, "Oh, hey, your birthday is the same as Jerry Garcia's."

>>Lambchop for me.

Nice.  Hoping to get back in the concert going saddle soon.

Seems like an odd comment in the OP.

Seeing The Rolling Stones @ Met Life Stadium.

Hope you get a Monkey Man fan request

Seeing My Morning Jacket at Red Rocks - good chance of a GD cover

Coincidentally, going camping. Just like the day he died.

Going to a screening of Wild Waves & Wild Fish at my local Patagonia store.

I would be remiss to not give ya the business.  Do you have a rewards card, Tim?

I bet Timmy will be sneaking in.

A friend is going to be at a Backstreet Boys show on Thursday.

Will they play the jammy version of I Want It That Way" in honor of Jerry?

The backstreet is a good place to get the junk

>>>>>I would be remiss to not give ya the business.  Do you have a rewards card, Tim?

The reward is the high quality of the clothing and buy for life capabilities.

I guess I'll just listen to a shit ton of Jerry today and go to the movies.

Just not feeling the speedball today

No change from the routine

Reflecting on June 17, 1991 and mowing the lawn this afternoon.  No meetup at the movies for me this year.

HBD Jerry

Pork chops, applesauce and good old LSD.

What is it to be "doing something" anyhow?

I'd go see Bobby tonight but the Sweetwater is full of babbling idiots so fuck that.

Garcia would have been 77. Many people thought in '84 he might not make it to '85.

I saw and talked to Phil a couple of days ago. He seemed happy and upbeat, just back from PA.

I mentioned the recent shows and said I was sorry to miss hearing the PA show, I heard it was strong.

Phil goes, The Oregon Country Fair was it.  (I assume he was speaking about the festival itself, not the music he

and his band played, but you know what happens when you "assume").

A great friend of mine is 80 and after a couple of surgeries he doesn't walk so good.

Amazing that Phil (and Bobby, Billy and Mickey) are still going pretty strong.

Long live all you guys. Thanks for all the fun.

Working in the day and going to The Movies tonight. Looking forward to seeing this show again.
