When it comes to tipping for service, millennials are cheapest

Instead of "robot fighting time" it's "generation fighting time" paging St. Mark

Mark ain't no millennial....he doesn't even have a beard.

They're just trying to save their money because the baby boomers are exhausting the Medicare and social security trusts funds.

Rank it by race next.

The saint had a field day on a baby boomer are to blame article and thread I started. devil

From the SF Gate link above: "Millennials were defined as between the ages of 18 and 37."

Thanks for backing up Neds point 6.

That was my intention, Timmy. Thanks for giving me some credit.

?????

Ned, thank you for setting the record straight here.

Just to be clear, my beef has always really been with the Baby Boomers. I think the Millennials are starting to show some promise now that they're hitting their 30's.

I'm hopeful. Hopefully they figure out how to tip in their 30's.

That photo looks staged.

The Atheists, Agnostics and Buddhists all kick down.  They are cool.

The Christians, Muslims and Pagans are in a face-off in the middle-ground.  Don't want to look bad, so they begrudgingly toss their pocket coins in.

The Hindus and Jews are not easily duped, and are withholding their change.

The Spirital (ibid) crew are clearly semi-functional illiterates, and are now down one hetty rainbow tam.

That guy's got a good hustle going.

I like the duffel bag filled with cardboard signs.

Whats he got in his left hand????

;)

Because They Are A Holes When Your Vehicle Does Pollute Anything ! Which Can Cost Hundreds Of Dollars In Repairs For That STUPID STICKER ! A GIANT HUGE CASH COW For THE FREAKING DMV ! UP YOURS DMV ! nonono !!!

Smog Checks ... WHAT A JOKE ! This Is Not The 60s 70s or 80s DMV !

When Your Vehicle Does NOT Pollute Anything ! sorry for the typo above ^^^^^

Tipping is an absurd practice and imo socially mandatory tipping will be gone within my lifetime.

But I do understand that many service workers rely on it, and having worked in kitchens myself, I begrudgingly tip somewhere between 15% and 25% depending on the small bills I happen to have. If I want to tip more than that, it' because the food was good...so I ask for a bit of paper and a pen and specifically mark anything over 15-20% as "for back of house.nI have also been known to leave jars of weed on the table with a note that it is for back of house.

The cost of the tip should be built into the cost of the food, and the restaurant should pay its staff a fair wage, that is more or less equal between front and back of house. If you think the tipping system is ensuring you get good service at restaurants, you are stupid.

I've Worked for Tips for Most of My Life. It's Time to Pay Us the Minimum Wage

D.C.'s ballot measure Initiative 77 would gradually raise the current base wage for tipped workers from $3.33 an hour
