I don't expect to be alive in 22 years, but my parents are both in their early-mid 90's as were their siblings. I have little interest in being that old.
Seeing as how I'm spending the majority of my life these days taking care of my 90+ mom, and having that not going well with nowhere to go but worse, and having already had the experience of watching my dad slowly deteriorate and pass just before he turned 90, I can't think of any reason why I'd want to stick around that long.
But then again, how many 6-foot-5 90-year-olds does anyone know of?
Us big guys don't last as long as the diminutive folk.
So to answer the original question, for me it would be less than 34 years from now, but I doubt I'll have the chance to decide whether I'm happy about still being around in 2050.
Then again, the 49ers might just be good again by then, which would be nice.
I guess I'll just have to keep on chooglin' and hope for the best.
Only 25 years. I come from a long-lived family, on my mom's side anyway, but I hope I don't make it that far. Hell in a bucket and all that, but it gets harder to enjoy the ride the more things fall apart.
