So I don't know where this came from but the US Senate just unanimously passed a law to make Day Light Saving Time permanent year round. No more going back and forth and it stays light later in the winter. I 100% support this. Have my whole life and never in a million years did I think it would happen.

This is the weirdest fucking timeline.

I know I left it around here somewhere.

It should be left on standard time year round

The US tried year-round daylight savings time in the 1970s and people hated it.

so we'll never get back the hour that we lost on Sunday?

Marco Rubio has been pushing it for a few years and is taking credit for it.

It's up to sleepy to sign it and when he does he will be the greatest president ever in my book.

I loath the time changes, fucks with me each time for close to 2 weeks

Can we get away from calling Biden "sleepy?" That was Trump's thing, and the irony was that Trump didn't even clock in until noon, clocked out at 4, didn't read security briefs, and was generally a piece of shit.

Quoted for truth.

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
Fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your hometown
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way

Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain
You are young and life is long, and there is time to kill today
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say

Home, home again
I like to be here when I can
And when I come home cold and tired
It's good to warm my bones beside the fire

Far away across the field
The tolling of the iron bell
Calls the faithful to their knees
To hear the softly spoken magic spells

It's 5 o:clock somewhere

 Where Does The Time Go?

Not on a Morris Day tour poster.

what's this all about?

The digital clock on my truck dashboard is still an Hour back,  so when I go anywhere,  I am one hour early for my appointment.

Might set it forward an hour by April or May,  when the Sun gets warmer.

It's about time.
