He's 100% sucked balls ever since he went to no limit records

While I appreciate Snoop's cartoon persona, he put on the very worst show I have ever seen.   Had to wait through a half dozen opening "acts" (mostly DJs with iPads) and when Snoop finally hit the stage, the sound was just horrible.  Couldn't make out a word he said and it was just noise.   Something was just terribly off.

i highly doubt snoop could even list a few positive or negative achievements from trump or biden. he does not strike me as a political type at all. one issue voter? doubt the dude even votes. trump pardoned his friend so he said something nice about him, it probably begins and ends there. i really dont understand the need to file every artist or celebrity into a political camp or the need to only engage with artists or celebs from your political camp. who tf cares if snoop likes donald trump?

reminds me of the classic dave chapelle routine about celebrity worship - "i want some answers that ja rule might not have right now!"

the vast majority of live hip hop is BAD. even artists that make absolutely fantastic, mindblowing albums often just put on shows where they are rapping over the album version of the song, which *if youre lucky* is only the beat - sometimes people rap over the full album version of a song with them already rapping on it. good hip hop album production does not translate to live shows at all, and most of the things any of us would recognize as elements of a good concert are not present at hip hop shows nor even desired by the crowd.

the only good live hip hop falls into 2 camps - early hip hip with a focus on turntableism, or modern hip hop where the beats are played by a live band. hip hop started as a purely live art form focused on  instrumental beats and improvisation, not rapping. when the focus of a show is high skill DJ'ing, that can be fantastic. its very very rare for a solo rapper with prerecorded beats behind them to actually put on a live show with real musical value.
