GA floor ticket purchased. $80, not too bad. Clutch is a surprise, I do enjoy them from time to time. I saw Karina Rykman a few weeks ago. If you get the chance, her band is fun. I really enjoyed the led zeppelin band with the mule this summer as well. Should be an enjoyable evening. Oh yeah, Billy Gibbons. Can't go wrong there.

Damn. Slash, Clutch, Jason Bonham? Heavy line up. Billy Gibbons to boot. Going to be some hearing lost that night.
Saw Karina Rykman two weekends ago. High energy fun show. Big sound from a trio.

Well that was a damn fine
Well that was a damn fine evening of music. I got there at 6:45 for a 7 pm start. Walked right in, no line and no mega security pat down like I remembered from past years. I grabbed a beer and placed myself 30 feet back from the drums, center stage. American Babies played first. I had seen them before and it was not my favorite. This version of the band was awesome. Probably because Joe Russo was in the band. Warren played solo for a bit and then Clutch played. Damn, Clutch stole the show for me, but I lean to the heavier side of things. fungus kicking in during Clutch. Karina Rykman was next and they killed it for the short set they had. I really like this band. Jason Bonham played, don't really recall much of this set. Its kinda like listening to the radio to me. The George Porter Jr and friends band played, they were one of my favorites of the night. Medeseki was on keys, russo on drums. Billy Gibbons with warren, joe russo (again), and the new bass player for the mule. Great set of blues and a couple ZZ songs. Crowd loved it. Mule played next I made it a few songs and then it was time to go, I was out of gas. I wanted to see Slash but couldn't hang. I got back to my hotel and chatted with a few other people that couldn't hang the entire evening. It's funny, we all blamed it on being old. Oh well. I was in bed by 1.
My favorites were: Clutch, Karina Rykman, Billy Gibbons, George Porter and friends. If you have not been to the xmas jam, it is one to put on the list. This was the 32nd xmas jam. A marathon evening of music. I have not been for 11 years, but I will go back again depending on the line up. Oh yeah, Warren sat in with everyone. That is also another favorite part of mine about the xmas jam.
