one fab feature of phish radio are the little snippets of stories and such from each member they randomly play

my fave is trey's telling of the yem tale

when trey was 19, he went to europe with fish and another friend (maybe that guy tom?) to busk around various countries

he said when they were hanging out in greece, they met this cool italian guy they spent a bunch of time with

and every time they saw him he would gleefully bust out, in full italian accent:

whenever we are together, you enjoy myself !!!

Phish actually showed up to an open-mic at a Salt Lake bar on a Sunday before their Monday night 11-2-98 show. Sparse crowd, so Trey gathered everyone on stage to sing to absolutely nobody in the audience. Gotta love it! As I was a frequent attendee at this Sunday night open mic at the Dead Goat Saloon in SLC (Carolyn Wonderland actually has a song about this place), I kicked myself in the ass real hard when I heard him talk about it at the Monday night concert. ACCKKK!

They covered Dark Side of The Moon that night. Lots of folks blew off Salt Lake between Vegas and California, and missed it.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=so72eM1J_so
