Haven't read the article but it sure sounds different in my shower. When I first turn on the hot, all the way, it sounds like water. When the hot water from the tank at the far end of the house arrives a couple of minutes later the sound gets a lot "softer" in tonality - not in volume. I then add some cold - sep. faucet - but not very much. After a minute or so the cold water from the pressure tank next to the house arrives and the sound gets "harsher".
