You Can't Make This Stuff Up - Not Fake News

One of our resident idiot congress members, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee chair Jason Chapputz, has decided he needs to investigate whether President Obama gave some insider info to the folks at Bryce Canyon National Park regarding the establishment of the Bears Ears National Monument. You see, someone at Bryce with time on their hands made a mail slot for the monument BEFORE it's actual establishment, which Jason suspects could show some nefarious collusion. 

"The White House is telling the governor as well as the congressional offices that no decisions had been made — that it was still an open question — so how is it [Bryce Canyon National Park officials] were already ready to go with that information?" Chaffetz asked Tuesday. "The timing is serious."

It was a freaking MAIL SLOT Jason! Let's waste taxpayer dollars on it! Geez, when will this bizarre nightmare end?

Now of course, the influence of a Russian bear is not a serious enough issue for Chapputz to investigate on behalf of America, so Pat Bagley of the Salt Lake Tribune drew this editorial cartoon entitled "Sometimes Bear Gets You".
