Soccer players and the officials who manage them often seem to have a flair for the dramatic, but this takes the cake.

Rubiales says it was a consensual kiss and that star player, Jenni Hermoso, is being silent about the verbal exchange that led to it. He claims he is being called to resign by "false feminists" and is digging in his heels and refusing to do so. A strange way to celebrate the greatest victory in Spain's national soccer program's history, men or women.

Hermoso has denied Rubiales version of the events. He's claiming she has changed her story.

FIFA has suspended Rubiales for 90 days. The entire Spanish Women's National Team has stated "will not return to the national team if the current leaders continue."
