ZMA: Shakey Zimmerman Jan. 6 Ivy Room Albany, CA

Forums:

My first post ever on the Zone! Hopefully this works! Shakey Zimmerman plays two electric sets of Bob Dylan and Neil Young songs at our first show of 2017. The Ivy Room is a great East Bay club to see live music. Doors at 8pm.

Hoping my link worked!

The link works perfectly and you sound great! Thanks. Have a fun show.

Excellent first post.

I guess I should have said "my first thread ever" and not first post. My bad. Here's a Neil Young song we did a few months ago in Denver. Thanks Judit!

Welcome!  Don't let the hazing get you down.

Your band sounds great. Bring it to SoCal!

Nice to see you posting, Pat! Looks like you've got the hang of starting a ZMA thread. Hope all's well for you and Carrie, Happy New Year :)

BUMP for a great band!

Seriously, check these folks out if you like Dylan and Young.

Tell them Johnny D sent you.  cheeky

Any chance of Ghosts of Electricity playing Lafayette?

Shakey Zimmerman will be at the Town Hall Theatre in Lafayette on April 1, 2017.

Here is a live version of a Neil Young song from a show on Neil's birthday in Carpinteria. I hope you like!

Thank you Johnny D! We have more shows soon in the East Bay and Marin. We are also heading up to the Crazy Horse in Nevada City in April.

Have a great gig.  We'll be playing simultaneously but we don't have any Dylan or Young on the list.

Hope to see you at the Crazy Horse. I will say Johnny D sent me smiley You might want to contact KVMR.org our local community radio station in Nevada City for a day of show interview or a phone in interview. If it works out you can do a few songs live on the air.

Go to the show, this Band it lots of fun... see you there!

I'm a fan of the band!

I'm a fan of the man!

Welcome!

You're a zoner now!

Hoover.... have a great gig! Next time we play on same night we can coordinate both bands for a Watchtower in two clubs at same time.

bump for all Zoners and their good energy!

My first vivala snub

Bart! My bad! Busy working and also not fully up to Zoner speed and attention to detail!

I'm on it already with the radio appearance the afternoon of April 29. The club is setting that up for me. Tune in! And then come to the show... as my guest. You and a friend ok.... I will not forget. You're in for free.

^Nice!

No problem Shakey, I was just fooling around being a zoner. It was more a joke. I am a big supporter of zoner music. Let me know if you need any information about the area I would be glad to help(I am a long time local). Thanks for the kind offer.

Welcome to the Zone, Shakey. Have a good one.

JohnnyD help me out, first time trying to be a smart ass and it back fired smiley

I will never do it again.

Shakey, if you don't know Mylar he is also a great musician, and the pride of Sacramento...

You guys should plan something together, it would be stellar.

Mylar, you may know Shakey from WCZJ5 when he played in Ragged Glory II (sp)...?

Speaking of Zoner Jam... mmmm

I thought he played with Sinatra, I was there for that show. yes

Sinatra's beautiful wife used to sing with him. I always thought that Pat was the connection, how those two lovebirds met.

Pete L was the drummer also.

WCVLZ jam sounds good to me. This summer...
I know who Shakey is. Just wanted to welcome him to our playground and bump the thread for Zoner Music! wink

Here is our set list from last night at the Ivy Room. We had a great time playing for a great crowd.
