That was before my time on the black screen, but I did just find myself wondering about Noodler's recipe for a simple mole in the How Does Your Garden Grow thread.
Mike, it was a recipe for Chili Colorado I found here on the zone. Basically, take a pork shoulder and (get it) sliced up to stew meat sizes, sautee. Add chicken broth and boil for an hour. Meanwhile, soak some dried chilis in boiling chicken broth (seed / stem first), in a covered bowl, for a half hour, then put in a blender, add to the meat after an hour, and boil for another hour. Real simple, and the rehydrated chili's give it a simple mole style flavor (vs sauteeing 2 dozen seeds, etc, which adds flavor, for sure, but those rehydrated peppers are the money shot). Of course, can add garlic, onions, tomatoes, etc. Did a quick search for Chili Colorado on le zone, but didn't see anything. I do have the recipe written down here somewhere (no longer have the link).
Bump because I've been thinking about this thread, and wondering if there might be any interest (beyond my own) in an updated, Viva Version of the OG Zoner Cookbook.
I'm thinking I'll contribute one of my favorite summertime cold dishes. It's a Greek salad with barley, feta cheese, Kalamata olives, red onion, cucumber, and grape tomatoes that's dressed with olive oil, red wine vinegar, and oregano.
^ that sounds yummy except for the barley, wtf's up with that ?
Not really on weed recipes for me, just yer basic brownies and cookies with weed butter. I'd love to expand the repertoire. You can trust a zoner to come up with a real kicker.
I don't know of any good weed beer recipes. The one's you get at the store taste like shiite. Maybe they're not supposed to mix like that. Separately they are my drugs of choice. Had a Belgian Ale 8% make itself ready for drinking this weekend. Ewwwwwwww boy thats some tasty goods. I brought some homebrews to Phil in Bridgeport, sent a couple folks to the moon.

Don't you brew you own beer, Ras? I imagine you've got a recipe or two for that.
