THE RAIDERS ARE GOOD

Forums:

THat is All

It's nice to see them back up at top.   I don't really believe they will win it all this year but lord knows it's long over due from them to rise out of the cellar.   There is hope yet for the Browns.

The Raiders are becoming scary good.

Early in the season I thought they were playing OK against weak teams but were not playing good defense, but now their defense is really beginning to play better and Carr & their offense looks to be the best kind of QB/offense - they play their best when they NEED to play their best.

The Raiders just keep getting better, and with New England losing Gronk and most other teams not really rising things could be very interesting for the Raiders in January.

I wonder if they'll open up the upper deck and raise ticket prices above $35 for the playoffs?

>>>I wonder if they'll open up the upper deck

Miss the upper deck.   I used to love sitting up there for A's games and spreading out among the empty rows of seats.   Gone are the days.

As a side note, there was baseball game I went to where a dad caught no less than 5 foul balls in one game.  He had three young girls (ages 10 or less) with him and it became awkward when he had given two balls away to two girls and the third didn't have one.  No problem....kept catching balls.   I've never seen anything like it.   Guy was a pro with his fishing net, first row, top level, behind home plate.

Oakland real this year....but Detroit....?

don't count the chickens...

Would love to see NY Giants vs Oakland Raiders Super Bowl this year.

RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10-2 Baby!

Tomorrow is the Biggest game we've played in since the 2002 Super Bowl!

LET'S GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kansas City....the -3 1/2 bothers me....I think Raiders are better but not tonight

Big game.

Going to be real cold out there tonight.

LET'S GO RAIDERS!

Kick some KC Queef A$$! :)~

Have not been a fan of NFL for over 30 yrs.  And I sort of hated the raiders back when I was a fan. Mostly because of Al Davis. That prick.

That been said, I really like this Derek Carr kid. I saw him play at Fresno State following in his brothers footsteps to the NFL.  And they have put a pretty damn good team in there around him.

Actually watched half a game the other day.     I am so conflicted in my old age.

THE RAIDERS ARE GOOD

yes and apparently the Chiefs are also.

Best division in the NFL, IMO.

Carr was bad last night, 17-41, 2.9 yards/pass. Wow.

Twice they got turnovers in the red zone and came away with only 3 points.

Still, they were in it (down by 8) until the end.

Just watched that video of the ball hitting the cam wire, sure looks like the ball hit something, that would have been a TD for oakland..

Didn't have to worry about the 3 1/2....kc sneaky

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

" Just watched that video of the ball hitting the cam wire, sure looks like the ball hit something, that would have been a TD for oakland.. "

Just our luck! Oh well, on to the next one. Have to take it out on the LA Chargers. Have to win out to maybe regain the AFC West Crown. Damn it! :(

Those cables in front of the ball are way up there. Punts have hit them but a thrown ball wouldn't. If it had it would have been obvious inside the stadium and the Raiders sideline would have gone berserk, but they didn't.

It looked to me that Carr couldn't really grip the ball properly all night and the cold made his grip worse. On that one it looked more like his ball was a dying quail that floated away from the track Cooper had on it.

The Chiefs played very well and the Raiders played pretty poorly, yet they were right in it at the end. It's one loss, but the Raiders look scary good to me.

If they could just figure out how to play good before falling way behind.

BTW, Thursday Night Football sucks. There hasn't been a well-played game all year, the uniform thing is an abomination, the whole thing blows.

Agreed about the uniforms, just terribly ugly.

Are y'all talking about the "Color Rush" uniforms?  Yeeeaaaah, those are awful.

I too am happy to see the Raiders playing well.  I have never really warmed to the Niners and the move to San Jose did not change my mind.  I just hope this results in the Raiders staying in NorCal.

YEA, BABY!!!!!!! All alone again in

FUCK, CARR'S BROKEN :(

Matt McGloin's time to step up! Please.....

Saddest WIN EVER!!!!!! :(

Well Matt, I liked you a lot years ago. When you where starting for us. When we had no offensive line. Time to step up, Bro! :(

Derek Carr broken Fibula :( heal up man. Going to miss you for the rest of the season :(

Doomed

Doomed?

Probably, but I think the entire league is pretty mediocre this year, with no team playing or looking like a Super Bowl winner, except maybe New England only because they have the superstar QB and the experienced & outstanding organization who know how to play in January, but their defense is susceptible and without Gronk Brady is their only star on offense. But what a star to have.

I thought that even with their slow starts and leaky defense, with Carr the Raiders were looking as close to a 4th quarter clutch championship winning team as any in the league, and I thought that a playoff game between the Raiders & the Patriots would be the best playoff game we'd see.

I'm not thinking that anymore.

I'd be pretty happy right now if I was a Pats fan, and I'd be a little more excited if I were a Chiefs or Steelers fan as well.

For sure, a terrible break for you long-suffering Raiders fans.

Anything can happen, and what the hell, no one knew who Tom Brady was when Drew Bledsoe got hurt, but it's looking more & more like a Patriots/Cowboys Super Bowl, and IMO the Pats will take that one.

Hoping and praying Conner Cook can get this done. But sadly I don't think he will. Probably 1 and done in the playoffs :(

Go Raiders!

On the bright side, they're playing the Texans.

Funny how it all started going to shit the week 2Dank started the 9ers troll thread... Raiders lose to Alexa (as 2Dank used to call him) Smith for the second time this season (and the last 9 out of 10 games lol!).

Then Carr goes down and they go from potentially getting a bye to having to play on the road in the 1st round with a 3rd string QB.

Way to go, Dank!

:)

I have super powers!

How're your 2-14 Whiners doing, Hall?

Jed still the dipshit owner running the team into the trash I see....... :)

At halftime the Raiders are down 13. They have the Texans right where they want them.

This is the way they've played & won all year.

Except they had Carr and that left tackle in those other games. Ouch.

What a punch to the gut that is for the Raiders Village, and is really too bad for all NFL fans because with Carr they're a fun team to watch.

Still, this is how they've played all year so you can't count them out, especially because the Texans suck.

Good luck Raiders.

I'm disappointed for the Raiders, they have a lot of great players! good luck next year.

I'm a life long east coast Raider fan. In the 80s and 90s I  traveled the same cities to see them as I did to see the dead. NY, DC, Philadelphia, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Baltimore, New England. Win or loose it was always a lot of fun.

It was fun till I took that trip to San Diego 14 years ago. It was probably one of the best weekends of my life until the game started and the beating began.

Since then my interest in the team slowly waned. Live in NJ. Would only go to games when they played the Jets or Giants. Stopped going to the bar to watch the game. Just got disgusted with the whole organization.

Last year gave me hope that maybe they might just pull off a 9-7 or even a 10-6. But no  they turn into the anti Raiders. Not withering in the second half but making adjustments, big plays and just killing people. It was fun again.

Every year my cleaning woman leaves me some sort of knick knack as a Christmas gift. Two days before the Colt game she left this hideous thing. I wanted to burn it but figured shed be offended if she didn't see it the next time she came.

First the Colts and the broken leg. Then the Broncos and loosing the division. She's good. Always finding lost buds and leaving them in the ashtray but I think I might have to fire her.

Raider for life...

Best part of Derek going down is it made seeing our weaknesses easier.

We need to draft a Stud Big Body DT to shore up the middle or our D-line. So Mack & Irvin can cause more havoc.

Also a real Middle Linebacker, replace Malcolm Smith who can't cover a TE. So 2 LB's

And the continued search for a complete TE.

I would also like to see Ken Norton Jr. Fired as he is not a real Defensive Coordinator.

A 3rd string WR speedster and good hands. To take the top off of Defenses.

Crabtree dropped way too many passes this year, lead the NFL. So start looking for a new #2 WR . Not a top priority.

And some more CB's because you can never have enough in this passing league.

I bet on 11-5, so was very happy with 12-4. Sucked losing Derek on Christmas Eve. Losing your Leader and Team MVP is a crushing blow especially when he was the least sacked QB in the NFL.

All and all we're a VERY YOUNG team. So this should be fun to watch for years to come!

GO RAIDERS!!!!

Funny we where the highest scoring losing Wild Card team. 14 points

With our 3rd string QB against the NFL's Best Defense.......

Lions 6

Giants 13

Fins 12

Heal up Derek, You'll get us there next Season!

GO RAIDERS!

>>>>How're your 2-14 Whiners doing

lol, who the fuck knows, probably someplace tropical partying like rock stars... same as 'your' one and done Raiders.

i'm sorry your qb got hurt. he's good.

Billionaire Casino Owner backs out...... CHECK!

Goldman Sachs Backs out..... CHECK!

Next up, less than 24 NFL Owners vote,  YES!

Mark, you'll stay in Oakland and you'll love it!!!!

:) :) :)

Things lining up to stay in Oakland. Oakland got the money/tax revenue now that rents have doubled in the last two years.

Las Vegas

smh

I feel for Oakland Raider fans.

They're not leaving Oakland for at least two and maybe even three years, and I suppose there could be a last minute miracle for Oakland, so Oakland fans will have their team for a while longer, which is bizarre, but the Raiders are always bizarre.

At least they're getting really good just now so in that two/three year window they'll be exciting and have a real chance to get to and win a Super Bowl, otherwise I imagine it would be really hard to stay with a lame-duck team and the place would be half empty, even with the closed off upper deck.

Ultimately, despite some signs that Mark Davis might have been a different type of owner it turns out that he is just another soulless evil shit like all the other owners. Big surprise there.

He could have figured a way to revamp the Coliseum in Oakland and make it work for him and the league, but it's money and power, and more likely power over money that he really wants. While being a rich man already he has never shown much interest in that side of things, eating in regular type places and driving regular cars, etc. But by going to Las Vegas he gets to be the big man on campus and treated like a king, while in Oakland, even if his team is winning Super Bowls, the 49ers will always be top dog in the BA.

I think the Raiders will work well in Vegas and it could be a really successful deal if they do it right, but it is too bad for the Oakland fans who have actually supported that team through all the bad years since they've been back, and now right when they're finally good again it's thanks and SEE YA', WOULDN'T WANT TO BE YA'!!! Quite the kick in the gut.

On a selfish personal note I'll be happy to see them go if only because having two teams in the same market we don't get as many games from the networks. When they leave I imagine the Raiders games will continue to be shown in the BA but we'll get more double-header games on both networks. That's good for me since I don't buy the damned gougy NFL package of all the games.

...Untitled_0.png

Oaklands Broke. They lost the Warriors to Frisco.. Now Da Raiders to Lost Wages.... A's who knows...

Oakland will be paying for the Warriors building until 2024 & Da Raiders Mt.Davis until 2026.

The Oakland Coliseum is a dump, it's been falling apart for years. Once Candlestick was demo'd it became the worst stadium in the NFL until the LA Lambs started playing in the LA Coliseum last season.

It least we will still have them until 2019 maybe 2020. I'll still go to any games I can make.

So I see a lot of Raider Fans pissed that we're moving to Lost Wages.
I feel blessed to have had them back at all. When they came back I was in total shock!
I'm GRATEFUL for the time I got to see them. Being a PSL holder in the late 90's... in the Black Hole with my brother, getting to go to 2 Championship games.
I'm sad to see they're leaving again. But I'm truly thankful for the all the games I got to attend!!
Win, Lose or Tie, Raiders until I die!!!

>>>the 49ers will always be top dog in the BA.<<<<

2-14 is far from being anything but a poodle.

I loved hearing John Lynch begging Raiders fans to come fill up that POS in Santa Clara! hahahaha

I guess any fans is better than just Lance Dingleberry..

>>>When they leave I imagine the Raiders games will continue to be shown<<<

Just like when they moved to LA. They will show every game. After all they're the only NFL team worth watching in California! :)

THE RAIDERS ARE GOOD GONE

Carr 5 years $125 million!!!!!!!

Welcome Training Camp 2017!

Let's Go RAIDERS!!!!

Can't wait to see what 2017 holds for the Silver & Black!

Lets' Go RAIDERS!!!!

1-0 Baby!!!!!

Beast Mode running out the clock.

Going to be a fun SEASON!!!!!

GO RAIDERS!!!!!!

They looked good this week.

That is a tough division, they all looked pretty good.

As usual in the NFL it will be which teams can stay healthy.

The Jets Got No Chance

The Raiders are playing a minor league outfit tomorrow. I'm a Jet fan on hiatus this year. I just can't schedule my weekends around them if ownership is going to deliberately put a lousy product on the field. Live is too fuckin' short.

RRRRRAAAAAIIIIIDDDDDDEEEEEERRRRRRRSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2-0 smiley

Let's Go RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Punched in the mouth and didn't get back up....

We got Manhandled today. Our O-line which has been ranked as 1 of the best 3 years running looked like turnstyles.

Derek was a beat off and a couple yards short on the 2nd play of the game when he throw the INT. Underthrown... :(

The better team won, today.

Now on to face a Pissed off Donkeys team in Mile High..

Will be a hard played game....

Must see TV!!!!

I hope D. Carr is OK!

Denver played a very good game.

I was hoping for that last 1min come from behind win with our back up QB EJ Manuel.

But was not meant to be...

2-2

Praying Derek Carr will be fine for next week

That was some tough back to back road games. Now the Bills riding a 2 game win streak are coming to town. And their Defense looks like no joke too.

GO RAIDERS!!!!

D.C. Out 2-6 Weeks :(

NNNNNOOOOO!!!!!!

That broken transverse, isn't that the same broken back that Tony Romo kept getting, that ended his career early?

carr back as,early as next week....wow

and do they need him...2-3 after todays loss to Ravens

Marshawn Lynch, really?

Dumbass.

Navarro Bowman is going to help them.

He's not the player he was, he's basically poor when he has to run laterally or cover receivers, but he's a savvy veteran player who's still good when the play is in front of him, so he can stuff the run and blitz.

Older, good but not great players don't do much for losing teams, but they can fit into a role on winning teams and make a big difference, and the Raiders are basically desperate for help at linebacker.

It reminds me of when the 49ers got an aging Matt Millen, who wasn't doing much at the time for the fading Raiders but fit into a limited role on an already excellent 49ers team and helped them win a Super Bowl.

If the Raiders use Bowman right he'll help them.

Maybe a lot.

As a 49ers fan I was sad to see him go, but given the circumstances I think it was the right thing for the 49ers to do, it was really good for Bowman and it could turn out to be very good for the Raiders.

We are lucky to even still have a chance, to still with a ton of miracles, maybe possibly make the Playoffs??? lol

TOMORROW IS HUGE!!!

Screwed having to play a "home game" in Mexico City. :(

GO RAIDERS!!!!
