College Hoops 2018-19

Forums:

Is it over already?   Fuck if Duke doesn't look unstoppable (although I always enjoy a good KY bashing).

What’s up zang?

I have ave only watched a few minutes of the gators getting their butts kicked by FSU, still pretty much in football mode still. Not a bad season imo for the mighty gator

i got one question for you.

Brohm coming home?

Basketball a Love Story on ESPN has been fabulous. 20 hours and I have seen about three. Hope they throw it on one of their channels and play it straight thru for a week or two on continuous run so I can get more.

Just got back from FSU.   Working on a project down there and should be there quite a bit.   They speak lovingly of UF ironically and said they get along great but don't tell any sports fans.

I tend to think Brohm will come home although I'm not convinced he's the right fit.     I don't see bringing in someone who is 5-5 to lead a power 5 school to glory.   Although props to him for crushing OSU.

For some reason I want Strong back but it seems like his window of glory may be over.   I'm not sure he's the right fit either, I just like the guy.

Either way, I'm glad they've cleaned house.   Even when Petrino was doing well, I wanted him gone and it's ironic he got all incestuous with his coaching staff.   All of them now fired and rightfully so.   He's scum.

I love Strong too, one of the best recruiters in the state of Florida and he also recruited very well in Fla. last time in Louisville. Do not sell him short, Texas did not give him the time to turn around a program that was in shit shape. He has only been at USF for two seasons, and two seasons, but I think he will be at USF for a good amount of time

Three games in and Hurley has already turned Uconn program around! Huge win over #15 Syracuse tonite, and off to a 3-0 start. Theyll try and make it 4-0 tmrw in finals of this season opening tourney at MSG.

So Duke stumbled vs Gonzaga but no surprise there....a bunch of one and dones versus a team.   Will be interesting to see how Mike shapes this duke team over the season.

Louisville lost to 5 Tenn and then lost to Marquette in OT in wis.  Tough start but already playing better than anyone expected.    Sad they couldn't pull one of those out.  I feel for these kids.

They do have a hell run of 5 ranked teams in a row at some point.  They will have their chances to pull some stuff out.

Michigan and Virginia are both rolling.

Tony Bennett's got an experienced team, hungry after last year's NCAA blunder.  Solid 8 player rotation.  Need to take care of business at Clemson on Saturday.
