It was a historic match....kind of odd it went five sets since they were both so hot and cold.    

As a Federer fan I feel he got lucky.   Between a few good bounces and Rafa probably running out of gas that might be his last one but it was a good one.    I hope Rafa wins the french.   It's nice to have these old fuckers killin it.   

Never been a fan of that whiny Brit.

I was really glad that I woke up (~8:15 or something) in time to see the last 2 1/2 sets - I was rooting for them both, so I was happy to see them play so well. Great match!

I love watching tennis on TV, and I even love listening to the sound of the balls being hit from another room.

I was on the sauce and got a little carried away. I guess I just wanted someone to rap about the match with.

So sauced I got the title and the post wrong...Roger/Nadal is what it should have said.

Didn't get to sleep last night until the morning came around.

I'm glad Federer won though. I was pulling for him. Never thought i'd see those 2 in a final ever again.

Saw the match in its entirety on Sunday.  Wow...what a great one.

To see these two go at it, healthy and firing bullets all over the place was something else.  Insanely fun.

Federer dug so fucking deep to win this one...that forehand he hit on break point at 30-40, 5-3 in the 5th was a cannon of gigantic proportions.  If Nadal has broken him there, I think he would have steamrolled Roger the rest of the way.  That forehand was everything.

So awesome to see Federer win one more at 35.  Unreal.

Happy for Federer. I think Nadal will win several more majors if healthy. He could win 4-5 more French Opens alone.
