Surprised to see my Islanders steal the first one from the Pens after limping into the playoffs after a pretty good season. Certainly didn't go in with much momentum.
That Lightning/Panthers series looks tough, Earl. Helluva game yesterday.

Futchin' A! My Islanders beat #1 seed Pittsburgh.
Boston went in hot, and the Islanders limped in, but I think the Islanders got some mojo back in this series. They could beat the Bruins. But that Tampa Bay team might be another story.

If they HAD called that too many men penalty, it would’ve nullified the goal and created a 5 on 3 for one minute and a 5 on 4 for another minute after for the Islanders.

Islanders did cross-check their way (see Point and Kucherov's backs) to a solid series, but the proverbial cream rose to the top. I've been busy watchin' that drunk Kuch Bud Light interview- never gets old. Are you kidding me? Can't wait for his return to Montreal!
