Evansville, Indiana

Forums:

Any Zoners in Evansville? I doubt it, but thought I'd check. Coming to see DSO on 3/31. Lets clink our beer glasses.

lived here most of my life.....when are you arriving....oh yea thanks for the heads up wasn't aware....

I will driving in on Friday, 3/31, probably around lunch as I will be coming from Louisville. I'm looking for floor space if its out there and to meet up prior to the show. Not a whole lot of cheap Airbnb in the area.

Not sure about floor space I have 6 in a 3 BR house now......but would like for you to drop by rest your bones & go for lunch or dinner

Cmon, help a zoner out. Its just floor space

that's sounds like something zippy would say ;)

Brnxeyed, completely understand! Lets consider hitting up a dinner or lunch spot. I'm going to iron out this plan of mine and I will check back with you on meeting up.

No it's not out of the question....but 1 of the BR is my office....so I have someone sleeping on the couch now

not sure how she would be about sharing

you have tickets yet.... they have 4 packs @ 17 apiece

Brrrr

Brrrr..... Wink wink wink... I know that was cold wasn't it...but it is still March!!!!

There's a $20 shared room and multiple $34-35 private room Airbnb listings in Evansville for the 31st right now.  Motel 6 is $49.  If that's a budget breaker, maybe you could just pitch a tent?

It's all good- going in on some space with a few others doing that trek. Thanks for playing!

I don't have tickets yet. Evansville was a last minute venue change, I imagine there will be plenty of room. Getting the ticks after my sleeping arrangement is confirmed.

bump for Langerado

Guy, he wasn't really looking to be friendly with you, he just wanted to bum a free roof over his head.

I can't even wrap my head around traveling for DSO.

ASS much

Sounds like a lot of work to see a cover band in Indiana.

Maybe it's just a stop on his way to see a broadway musical on Saturday.

Do people travel to see musicals?

If you want to see them on Broadway you do

Looks like I'm in at the last minute.

Very nice en route right now. I sent you an email browneyed.

P.S. driving in the car for an hour isn't traveling. It's basically commuting. Louisville was a blast last night.

Good to meet you, frmrlrkr!

Right back atcha Langerado.

I had a real good time @ the show, thought the show was well played.

Isn't langer the founder of the .net competing viva website?

Hammer sorry we snubbed you!

Hey Lager. Do you ever get over to Bardstown or Lawrenceburg?

Mark, does the lion ever realy lay down on broadway?

Just wondering

St. Mark, no, I rarely find my way to those areas. They are famous for

bourbon but kinda small rural KY towns. Speaking of Bourbon, had Blantons this weekend.

Quality.

Yeah Blanton's is a really nice pour. If you get a chance, track down Rock Hill Farms, which is the same juice as Blanton's but just bottled at a 100 proof. Probably my hands down favorite "regular release" bourbon from Buffalo Trace. It's really nice.

I was curious about those towns because (as you know) there are some great distilleries there and I was curious if you ever had the chance to visit them.

I keep meaning to do the distillery tour here in Kentucky but haven't yet, though I've been living here since 2005. In the fall I was at a Social Work conference on substance abuse at ironically, Buffalo Trace, and it was an incredible place. My children are now getting to the age where they can babysit themselves so we've found ourselves with more free time lately. If I can hit them up, I will let you know how they are.

Nice. I'd like to make it back down to Louisville at some point. Wonderful town.

Curious killed the gay cat.

How was that DSO shoe.
