The Houthis

Forums:

Literally poking a stick in a hornet's nest.  Can't really see this hostile strategy playing out too well for them.  They will get smoked and the scales of their Civil War will tip back towards the Saudi backed Yemen government.  I bet the far right U.S. factions will be calling for us to attack Iran too.

Not sure what they were expecting.  Hard to play pirate and victim at the same time.  Not a big fan of US military adventures abroad in general but keeping international shipping lanes open is another thing.

And it's ironic that the right wing media was lambasting the Biden administration for not responding more forcefully to the Houthi attacks and now they are lambasting the Administration for overstepping its authority.

Houthi and the Blowfish

Houthi with the Blow Darts

these guys have zero chance

They are Iranian backed.  Winning is not the objective, drawing the US deeper into the war is.

>Houthi and the Blowfish < lol, that dude's now a pop country star....

Houthi rebels must be gaining popularity among the 'Free Palestine'  crowd who want to punish  America and Israel.

Letting these bit players have a toehold is a bad precedent.  They are interfering with global free trade and regional security.   With the coalition forming against them, their reckoning is coming soon.
