Pre-Sale

Forums:

Never participated in a pre-sale for tix and wonder if it's typically a custie thing in which the early buyers get ripped off in a tiering scheme or is it all legit and transparent? Do potentially  buyers have any choice of tix or is one's credit card just hit with whatever is "available"?

-Thanks in advance!

Never got the best tickets on first go round....but thats just my experience

Mixed bag for me.  Used to be better but seems these days they are gone in five seconds.

Pre-sale allows promoters to release a small amount of tix while testing market response.  Then they can decide how many tix to push to the secondary market.

Or maybe I'm a skeptic.

Sounds about right for an act this size, I don't think that this stands as true for smaller bands/venues.

i miss the index card days

You can always turn down the tickets

Also try half an hour later if you get bad choices at first
