RIP to Bud Harrelson. I was a huge Mets fan back then while all friends and family were Yankee fans. His lifetime .236 BA and 7 HRs define the 'all glove, no stick' model for shortstops of that era. That 69 Mets team winning the pennant and World Series was such a great time for a young sports fan. RIP #3.

Didn't know about the LI Ducks baseball team. I saw the LI Ducks play hockey at Commack Arena, sometime in the early 60's maybe?
